From my experience all LEXUS vehicles have a short keyless entry range. :cries:

The size of the pads could have alot to do with the wear seen as the rear pads are about 1/3rd smaller than the front. I experience the same wear on my GS but not on my ES, They wear quite even on my ES.

Were they gapped properly? Although they are supposed to come gapped from the factory it is a good idea to make sure they are properly gapped before install.

The VSC on the car wear the rear brakes faster than the front. That is one reason for the wear.

OEM DVD/CD changers are available for your LEX They are expensive $1000.00. I have 1 of them. And they are very very rare. Sorry the dvd changer is sold. But I do have the factory rear entertainment system single disc dvd player that allows you to watch movies on front screen.

I also agree with the MX'S I have them on my ES and they wear like iron and the ride is smooth.

I looked at my cluster trim on my GS and it is also plastic, Do you really think that makes the GS cheap? LEXUS bashers are just expressing there jealousy when they nitpick tasteful designs. This one is worth 3 cents.

In my opinion buying a LEXUS is money well spent unlike most other auto mfg's. <_< ← Depreciation (trade in price) on my '02 was 40% after 4 model years. That's not bad since the average for all cars seems to be 50% after 3 years. ← bartkat, I'm with you on this IS issue, This all started when some ex LEXUS owner decided that he's going to vent his personal feelings about the IS on these forums and really is pointless to do so, I wonder if he goes around to other car forums and complains about every dislike on every other mfg's designs? I'm talking about installing a OEM nav just like it came from the factory, Or just like you ordered the car with a nav. I know several people who have installed factory nav in a non-nav LEXUS.

Well, I can help you out with a oem nav after you purchase.
