I didn't order the rear seat entertainment system for my '04 GX470 because we don't have kids. I'm thinking about installing an iPod and DVD player that would display on the ML/Nav screen. Do all GX470's come prewired for DVD player in the center console? Or am I going to have to run video/audio/power cables to a 12V DVD player? Does anyone have a source for OEM dvd players? I was talking with a friend who has a Mini and he mentioned that there is an active community of hackers who modify and update the Nav system installed in the Minis. I can't find any information on the Lexus Nav system except how to install iPod or DVD. I believe the system was developed for Lexus by Delphi. Anyone have hacking info?

I had the same problem on my '04 GX470. The local Lexus dealer "machined the splines on the driveshaft" after talking to Lexus tech support. Problem solved.

Does anyone have a copy of the wiring diagram for the '04 GX470?
