  1. Think about it LexKid, This guy posted about installing headlights in a ES that you posted as stolen??? 1+1= 2 How plain can it be? If I am missing something here Please bring it to my attention. :whistles:
  2. In my home we call it the internet, Just happy you could supply some info. I mean after all you found it ;)
  3. Lesson learned, If you search the internet you will find anything :whistles:
  4. I must have passed this post when i did the search...thx guy Guy, You da man.
  5. The older I am, The less I respect The The media in general, What is your thought??? Without going into too many details, Spill your guts, God Bless All !!!
  6. Lexkid, What is your source of these pix? There was a listing on ebay last night (not there anymore). It said that it was stolen and the found later on. Anyone contact SoufSidah09 ? Seems to me he has the car, Is he the owner ? Did he buy the salvage ? Not that I really care but It seems fishy. <_<
  7. My advise is to look at an earlier[2005-04-03] Removal instructions and that should/will bring you in the ballpark. I would post links but that is your job to find resoulotions, The internet is almost infinite, I do guarantee you will find the info you seek. Unfortunately some sites charge $$$.
  8. Nakamichi makes one[ 4" ] with a polyeurathane tweeter So there are options, Just search the hell out of the internet and do a lot of research and you will find them, And when you do you will be sooooooo satisfied, Because the nak updated speaks are just so much improved once you find them you will never replace them for the life of the car. Research the part # first ans expand on it.
  9. if all wiring and all connections check out to be ok, then most likely the tuner inside the radio is bad. when it plays on the presets you have on the radio try move it to another. i.e if your station on 1 is cutting out on fm1 try station 1 on fm2 to see if problem goes away. it definally sound like the radio unit is bad. It is the amp, Remove the glovebox insert and you will see it on the passenger side. It isn't the headunit, While you are in there check all the connections first, It wouldn't hurt to pull the head and look behind there. Doesn't make sense for it to be the amp if the tape and cd work fine, It sounds like it's the tuner <_< Amp, Channels, Remove it and you will see where the circuit boards are darkened <_< The headunits on these cars are almost NEVER a problem, But don't discount it, The amps are 98.9% the culprit. Either way you have to take everything out and test it ;)
  10. Lexkid, What is your source of these pix?
  11. I can tell you this, You won't find an aftermarket player that will fit in the existing space [ without modifications ] Search your options for aftermarket and your work is cut out for you, Have the player refurbished at a reputable shop.
  12. Sounds like something is loose in your trunk. I don't think it anything to do with your drivetrain.
  13. Let us know how it pans out for you. ;)
  14. SoufSidah09, Must have possesion of this vehicle, Why would he ask how to install Headlights ? Maybe he is just a cover of sorts, Who knows??? But if this car was truly stolen/stripped and there is a member here that has possesion [ maybe it is his car ] It is worth looking into. The authorities would love to have any/all info in this case.
  15. Your welcome :)
  16. Makes sense B)
  17. *BLEEP* off.
  18. Check the factory owners manual, There is one stuck on top of the GS forums, Your Welcome.
  19. It wouldn't hurt to try the removal of all the weights, Hell It's not a bad idea. You might want to clean the inside of the wheels[ I think that is where the weights are anyway ] You wouldn't beleive the crap that builds up in there, And it has to effect balance. Let us know how it goes.

  22. wireless. 1- all doors closed and locked except drivers door (open and unlocked) 2- place key in ignition turn it to on and off 3- cycle the manual door lock from unlock to lock 5 times 4- closed the driver side door and open the driver side door 5- perform step 3. 6- place key in ignition and turn it on to off (one time to add a key) on and off two times ( rewrite ) pull key out of ignition, the door lock should response by going to lock and unlock( one time to add key) lock and unlock two times for rewrite mode. 7- push lock and unlock bottom on key together for 1 sesond and push unlock one time. if procedure is performed correctly the door lock will lock then unlockand alarm beper will sound. immobilizer. 1- start car and stop car. remove key from ignition cylinder. 2- place registered master key in ignition do not turn on. 3- push gas pedal 5 times 4- push brake pedal 6 times 5- take out registered master key from ignition. 6- place new key in ignition. do not turn on 7- push gas pedal one time. 8- wait 60 seconds, the factory security indicator should go off then the key is programmed. the immobilizer section will only work if you have a registered "Master key" if you only have a valet then it will not work unless the valet was registered to be a master key. its sounds kinda crazy to send a car back to the states just to get the keys programmed. Here you go. key_program_gs.pdf
  23. Nope, You have to go aftermarket, The upgrade to dvd based LEXUS nav will cost you major$$$ and deemed not worth it. You can always sell your existing car and upgrade that way, This is truly your best choice.
  24. It's pinned on the top of the GS forums, Your Welcome :whistles:
