Hey, what's the best wax to use for your ES? or I guess, what's the best wax to use for MY ES? :D By best wax, what brings out the best shine and what's the easiest to use? I've used some where I'd have to buff forever to get the wax out... I'd prefer something that's really easy to use, like it comes off very easily, and it goes on very easily too, cuz i'm just butt lazy

so where's this oman place? can i drive there to get my car all fixed up? hehe

did you check to see if there's some kind of dwarf inside your engine trying to tap out some SOS signs? :P how loud are the taps? is it really quiet and just taps a couple times before it stops? or does it continue for a while?

I don't know about the ES, but when I took my dad's GS in for the 60,000 mile service, it cost about $1200. Since that was sometime last year, sounds about right with rising prices and all. Kind of a doozy, ain't it? Freaking dealerships make so much money off of us with expensive service costs on top of how much the cars itself cost, dang pirates

come on, how can anything beat the new stylish body of the es with the auto leveling hids, mark levinson sound system, nav system, heated front seats, rear sunshade, and the coolest feature of all: being able to switch from sport suspension to comfort suspension? vroom vroom B)

depending on how i feel that week (which is about how long my tank of gas lasts), i can average about 19 mpg to about 23 mpg. the lowest i've averaged for a tank is 15 (i was going crazy that week with flooring the car everywhere i went, basically driving like a wannabe racecar driver :P ). but usually i'll average about 22-23. the only reason i know this is because of that nifty computer guage that tells me all this info. as to how many miles i get when the light comes on, i think i get about 40 miles (the computer also tells me how many miles to empty)... although i might be able to get more, since i've been at 0 miles until empty for a little while until i pulled into a gas station (that was scary, thought i was gonna be stuck in the middle of the freeway :o ) now as to the tapping, no idea where that would come from...

soundz like an expensive job to do though, changing out the entire radio... i mean, unless you try to get one of those aftermarket ones that i doubt would fit into the entire head unit area of the lexus.

what kind of chip would you recommend for a 2003 ES? and how much would it cost? and is it an easy DIY?

hmmm... never ever thought of getting back there. what color are you planning on changing the bulb too? because if its a 2003, there's no way that the light should've burned out already, right?

by the way, nice pictures of your car... especially the second one, where your finger somehow creeped into the shot but i noticed that your pictures seem to be a little blurry on the lower left hand side of the pictures, maybe somehow your finger smudged the lens? just thought i'd bring that up, maybe you want to clean your camera lens. :)

alan, lmao! so how much do these things usually run? i wonder if it's worth it... i haven't gotten a speeding ticket yet *knock on wood* but i guess it's bound to happen from the way i drive, speeding around at 80-90 all the time, occasionally over 100, not that i have a death wish or something but because since i'm always sitting in traffic in the mornings and at night , when the road is open, i love to get all that frustration out. :)
