yea, all states have the law that the blinkers need to be orange... but my car ain't a rice rocket, so hopefully a cop will ignore me and my blinkers and front window tint ;)

how heavy are the people you carry around? i have an 03, and when i have people in the car, i know i have to drive a little more carefully around bumps and stuff to make sure i don't scrape my bottom, which i've done several times already... :chairshot:

hahahaha it is pretty bright, ain't it? i think the reason it is so much brighter than most cars that have clear corners is that the corner is just pretty much clear glass, compared to bmw, which is kind of an opaque clear corner. oh well, i'm just hoping i don't run into a cop who woke up on the wrong side of the bed

thank goodness the 03 es has an embedded antenna so that i don't have to worry about it jamming...

hahahahahhah hilarious i agree with you though, most people i've talked to do think that the car is more expensive than it actually is... although thatz not to say that the car is cheap

oh, btw, i'm pretty sure he was racing, cuz otherwise i wouldn't be able to hear his engine through my closed windows and radio turned on hahaha

hahaha, we use the finger signal too, although itz usually reserved for when we can actually squeeze ourselves into the lane we want to in front of the guy who didn't want us too

how far over 40? cuz maxed out right now was 40311, which was sticker price on my car...

i actually beat a porsche boxster s yesterday! i was driving home, and we were both stopped at a red light in front of the freeway entrance. the freeway entrance was right in front of us, and as soon as we enter the freeway entrance, the two lanes merge into one about 200 feet down the line, and this entire part from the freeway entrance is downhill, and as the lanes merge into one, the entrance curves to the right. i got a better jump off the green light, and the downhill part helped me, and the biggest thing was that i was on the right side, so as the lane merged, the porsche had to slam on its brakes so that it wouldn't hit my rear end... but i guess the guy was mad, as soon as we got in the freeway, i got stuck behind a van, and the porsche blew by me with itz engine revving all crazy hehe, ok, just wanted to share my adrenaline pumping experience yesterday B)

i agree with sw03es. i didn't really like the old model es, thought it looked too plain, but once they redesigned it, i really liked it, which is why i got it :P what i noticed was there's not a lot of middle ground on this car, people either really like the new design or hate the new design. but a lot of people who originally dislike the new design end up switching their minds after getting used to the car. but yea, i guess the es is always going to look pretty dang similar to the camry <_<

I don't know, I have it, but I haven't found it too useful since I got my windows tinted <_< for me, itz just another option to wow my passengers with

that sure is a lot of bulbs you got steviej haha :P during the day, my blinkers can be seen, but during the night, you can be a mile away and see my blinkers cuz itz so bright... ok, exagerrating a bit here :chairshot: but it is bright during the night, you'd have to be blind to miss me signaling to change lanes. but i live in la, half the la drivers don't signal anyway, and when you do signal, nobody lets you into their lane :chairshot: hahaha i love driving in la

I guess anything can be done yourself, but as far as i know, it's not easy to replace the struts at home

I used the same bulb in the front as I did in the back, both 7440. haha, if you do go into Lexus for the bulbs, ask them how much they would charge for labor if you had them change it

i didn't know the wedge bulb was so difficult to find... i just took my wedge bulb into autozone, and the guy who worked there was able to find me bulbs in like 5 seconds. but i guess since you're looking for a very specific look, it might be hard. i just wanted mine to blink bluish white, and the guy found me one that was a blue coated bulb but blinked clear, lucky me!
