  1. i live in so cal, as u can tell by my profile :D specifically, in la county! :chairshot: ok, i just put that pic there cuz i think itz hilarious, beating the poor guy over the head with a chair hahahaha :chairshot:
  2. ok, checked the bulbs, they're 7440 bulbs. as far as being street legal, it is (as far as i know) not legal to have your blinkers blinking any other color than amber. however, the new bmw's that are coming out these days all have clear corners and are blinking white. so i guess you can take your pick, cool looks with the possibility of getting pulled over and getting a fix it ticket, or the traditional look B)
  3. i went with bulbs called superwhites, but lemme look into the bulb wattage number etc :) don't know it off the top of my head :P
  4. dang, thank goodness that the 03 comes with the corners clear already, makes it easy to have to just replace the bulb. I guess if you want to clear your corners, you can do a search on it, there's a lot of threads that talk about clearing corners :D
  5. wow, i feel special now that i know i have a rare car :D mine has the avs, pedals, plus the wood/leather wheel and shifter, rear sunshade, HIDs, navigation, mark levinson, and so on and so forth :) I didn't order the car specifically, but I didn't find it on the lot either. When I was buying the car, I told them that I wanted a fully loaded one, with all the options, in black and ivory. I don't know if the order was cancelled or whatevers, but I do know that the dealer that I bought the car from didn't have the one I specifically wanted, so they had to dealer trade for it. But the other dealer was a little far, so I ended up getting the car with about 100 miles on it, which I didn't mind because I got them to knock off another $50 off the price of the car. But as far as I know, I think the cars in so cal all have all the options if you buy it fully loaded, although I might be wrong :P
  6. my dad's gs was a 98, did the 98 have the same transmission problem?
  7. my key code is not on the manual but in the binder or whatever it is that hold my manual
  8. Much better, you can actually see the car now!
  9. After posting the pictures, I realize that these pictures are small!!!!!
  10. OK, this is one of my front with the light actually blinking. By the way, my corners are actually blue when you just look at them, but when they actually blink, they blink a really bright white, thus the bulbs are superwhites.
  11. OK, this one is just the back of my car, just the rear blinker at night
  12. OK! Three pictures. Really hard to take a picture when the light is actually blinking! This one is just the front of my car at night
  13. Ok, I'd put a picture of my car with my clear blinkers, except I don't know how to put a picture on here! somebody help? :D
  14. I don't know, there might be the same problem with my car, but the responsiveness of the transmission and such feels the same as my dad's gs. I've been able to keep my car to be as responsive as the gs, so maybe I don't feel the same glitches, or I don't feel it to be a glitch. But maybe if you did drive my car with me in it, you'd be able to point it out, and I'd be like ooooh!
  15. hahahahaha, let's just hope it was mustard and leave it at that
  16. What transmission problem? If I do have a transmission problem, I haven't noticed it. I'm assuming that the transmission problem you're referring to is the hesitation in acceleration and stuff, but my car's been pretty responsive, sorry, don't hate me for having a car with barely any problems!
  17. Yup, I got the adaptive variable suspension also! :D although I had no idea that was the actual full name of it. But it's a pretty cool feature to have, being able to switch from sport suspension to comfort suspension. There's actually four different settings you can adjust your suspension to. Gives me something to talk about when people get in my car
  18. I have adjustable pedals! Oooh, I feel unique now :D I personally use 87 octane, running at $1.77 per gallon (chevron with techron, although the only reason i actually go to chevron is itz two blocks from my house )
  19. 2003 Black on Black ES300, fully loaded with Nav and ML. Afraid to heavily modify the car in any way while itz under warranty, but got some super whites in my corners front and back, looking into a K&N filter cuz i think i saw it mentioned in an earlier post by steviej that they came out with one for the 02-03 ES. Tinted windows all around except for front windshield. Need to get a spoiler on it, waiting for a price drop. B)
  20. can you elaborate on the type of hesitation and shifting you're talking about? I have an 03, but I haven't really noticed some hesitation in shifting and trying to find gears, but maybe I'm just not completely sure of what you're referring to... :(
  21. they made lexus with manual? i thought the only lexus with manual was the is
