meghan88, Your problem is you can't use a Sc300 amp in a Sc400 (your car) not compatible. You need a Sc400 amp. This Sc vendor has one, but it's pricey. I would email him and try to drop the price. sule, Do the front speakers work/hear music? If yes it's most likely the speakers have blown. You can test the rear speaker by connecting a working speaker to the +/- connections. nichola1, Your looking at the wrong identification number. Look at red underlined number in the picture below. The serial number from a Sc 400 '95 amp. The add/seller should state both are Nakamichi 5 channel amps/compatible with Sc year's and buy the latest model or the amp that shows no rust or corrosion.

kln552, I would take the 2000 SC300, it has the current up grades. The listed price on both seem a tad high, did you check the blue book value?

fiery_cayenne, The door must not be aligned properly, if the door is heavy/hard to shut. I looked at my door for a button/area were the door comes in contact with the frame making the door light turn off to no avail. It could be the door hinge that causing the door not to properly shut. Instead of disconnecting the battery everyday remove the fuse. jarris, turn the park light casing counter clockwise until it unlocks. Its a small/tight area to reach the enclosed casing, try using small pliers to get more leverage.

To gain access to the speakers +/- connections. Buy an inexpensive 2inch speaker (Walmart) disconnect the wires running to the speaker and hook up the wires to the working 2inch speaker, if you hear music speakers are blown. Misi, There is no switch to turn on cornering lights, they only work as turn signals(turning left or right) on the early model Sc. If still not working when using the turning signal, it needs a new bulb.
