  1. Okay i decided to just buy exedy clutch online and just do a resurface on the fly wheel. Was wondering if anyone has a link to a DIY clutch replacement? and also how much hours do you think i have to put up to change the clutch? Whats the difficulty level? I'm just average when it comes to cars. Just a little bit about what i did already by myself. oil/oil filter, spark plugs, bushings, cleaning throttle body. Just basic stuffs here and there... SO do you think i can do this type of work? Thank you in advance!

I have a 92 sc300 currently stock and probably will upgrade someday but i was just wondering if a stage 3 clutch would hurt me with just the stock setup on or as just a daily driver? i'd rather get the stage 3 to leave room for upgrades if it wont be a problem. And also if i get my clutch replaced, do you think this will be a good time to change flywheel as well? Do i need an aftermarket flywheel if my stock one is fine? Whats the difference? and is that a wear and tear part as well? thank you.
  3. Yeah was looking at that too, the trd duracon one?... It seems like its so limited when it comes to shift knobs besides the universal ones. Hows the feel and weight on that one? looks pretty plane on the picture... hmmm... as fpor the the trd is my top option... anyone else? keep it coming! thanks for the thoughts...l B)
  4. Currently looking for a nice manual shift knob that will blend in nicely on my black exterior and tan interior sc300? Any thoughts? And also i hope you all can share some pics or let us know what aftermarket shift knobs you guys are using.. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thank you
  5. Okay here's the problem. I got my sc300 engine detailed yesterday and all of a sudden the car wont fire up when i start the engine. It gives that chocking response and dies. Could it be water somewhere? what am i dealing with? I hope it wont cost me a fortune. as im thinking if i should get the car towed to a shop or should i just have em take it back to my place and ill just work on it myself.. Any opinions is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
  6. I would first check for power to the switch with a test light from the back side of the plug. It's just not power on 1 side of motor, apply a ground on the other side to make it work. It's more of a logic circuit. Activating the Pass switch goes back to thru the Driv side/(Master) switch. The master switch has to flip/flop the Pass side switch(sort of). You say you can lower the Pass window from Pass side switch(what about raise it). Try everything: lower Pass window from Pass side part way then try to lower from Driv side; then press & hold WINDOW LOCK and try to lower; etc... Try everything possible. If you can't get it to work; that's going to leave Theft Det. ECU; fuses; Power Window Main Relay; and then wires. P/W main relay somewhere near drivers fuse panel. Yep, tried everything possible today. No luck.. Guess gotta find myself a tech to work on it or unless i find a DIY thing for this.. Really appreciate your guys' help.. thank you...
  7. Something wrong with the driver side switch for my windows.. I'm pretty much sure that it is not the switch, i just bought one recently and thought that'll be the solution.. Unfortunately didn't do me any magic and now got myself 2 of em switches. I can lower the passenger window from the passenger side, but from the drivers side, neither window will work. Whats strange is that the power door lock and window lock switches still work. And these are part of the same switch box. Has anyone figured this out??? P.S also saw few threads regarding this issue but it seems that has never been answered.

I have a 92 sc300 leaking somewhere around the steering.. had a few issues as well with the bushings.. but after hours of searching for a DYI steering rack replacement, cant find any... i just wanna replace the whole thing instead of going through all the issues on it one by one... i hope someone can help me. thank you in advance.
  9. Hi everyone! I started searching for solutions regarding my problem and couldnt find any so i thought of making a thread. I have a 92 sc300 about 140k miles manual trans. recently i have notice that my car is swerving both ways, left and right. Sounds odd cuz alignment problems dont usually swerve one way? and also its pretty strong when im running on freeway speeds. all of a sudden I'll feel a drift on either side of the car which is pretty alarming and scary but somehow it aint so hard to control it. So finally yesterday i decided to geet it checked at les schwab and they said they couldnt find anything loose underneath. So i decided to hold of on the alignment since it will jsut be a double work if its not an alignment problem. Pretty problem is my steering is pretty lose and pulls from either side special when u hit a rut on the road or like a gravel or something... Please i hope someone can enlighten me with this problem of mine.. Thank you in advance. :)
