Teeheehee...... There are so many of those cars around Memphis with the huge rims. Most of them look like they would tump (southern expression) over very easily. What I hate is when it is otherwise a nice classic car.

Maybe I can keep mine long enough to retire it to a weekend warrior. You never know what might turn my eye in a few years. I have always been a Chevy girl, but I might look at a Mustang for my next car. I miss American Muscle! For 17 years I had my supercharged Z28 when I had the need for speed. I don't have it anymore. :cries: I don't like the new Camaro and even though I think the Challenger is the hottest of the retros, I can't spend that kind of money on a Chrysler product. Hope I didn't step on any toes there.

I printed out a year of calendars to keep track. One, I want to know how much I turn it into. Two, I want to make sure I don't mess up and miss a week. I will enjoy the ride with the top down until I get to the cotton/corn/soy bean fields. There are HUGE bugs. Eek! I like what Jeff Foxworthy said about Tunica. He said it was the only place he had ever seen where you could shoot dove and craps in the same field. Teeheehee....

After 20 years of gaming in Mississippi, I finally got lucky Saturday night. I won $1000 free slotplay every week for a year. YIPPEE!!!! Only minus...it is 120 miles round trip from my house to Tunica. Oh well....glad the car gets good gas mileage, but I sure hate putting that many miles on it. I'll try to cut some of my other driving down if I can. This is going to be fun! B)

But if you really think about it, can you think of anything that has improved in quality over the years? Everything is all about making it faster and cheaper. I think it is a sign of the times.

Not only do I feel like my car is most CERTAINLY a woman's car, I feel like it is an older woman's car. That is why I insisted on the F-Sport package to get those rims. It "youngs" up the car a little. I have seen some men driving the ISxxxC though. I guess most people associate sleek lines to a woman and raw horsepower to a man. I'm strange. I have to have horsepower to go with my sleek lines. This car I have now is the slowest car I have had in decades, but I am enjoying the 24/25 mpg city driving. I might return to American Muscle my next car. I'm waiting to see what happens when they un-retro the Mustang. I'm sooooooo sick of the retro thing. I don't want the same car I wanted 40 years ago.

I see they added a face clock like Infiniti. I'm still out to lunch on that big mouth grill. I guess it will just take some getting used to. I wonder how long it will be before the convertible is released? Great review.

Ooh! I want the anthracite. It would match my rims perfect.

My rims are dark and my grill is dark (F-Sport package). The rear needs some dark. I want to remove the IS250C because I think the back is way too cluttered. I wish I could get off that protection sticker they put on there on the bumper right by the trunk. I don't like it. I would die if I messed up my pretty paint trying to remove it. I'll ask my dealership about it. Thx for the info!

I want to do my rear Lexus emblem. I'm going to remove the IS250c. Do I have to remove it from the car first? I've never used it but hear people talking about it.

Wow...what nice lines! Only bad thing I see as far as I'm concerned is that the top won't fold up and go into the trunk. I guess I will keep the IS. It sure is a looker though. It is funny, as much as I have always loved cars, I have never even driven a BMW. My sister has a new 535i. I have ridden in it, but not ever driven one. I went to the lot and looked when I was looking for my car, but once I saw mine sitting on that showroom, it was all I wanted. I will take Japanese technology over German any day. JMO

Can't wait to see it. I'm getting over 25mpg on 89 octane. That is TOTAL stop and go. I'm very pleased. Sometimes I miss my supercharged Z28, but not at the gas pump!

You must be very young for your insurance to be that high. Eek! It will go down at 21 and 25 if your record stays clean. Post some pics and pics after your mods. I would love to see your progress. and PLEASE don't spell Camaro with an "e". <_<
