  1. How would all the Dell employees be able to post?!?!
  2. One thing you forgot Denny. Make sure you are parked up hill so no buggys can roll your way. Thank God, we always take hubby's truck when we travel or go to events. Lexie can stay cozy in her garage. Funny, he parks anywhere and never gets dings. I guess those tall flat doors are not good targets. My Z28 was my DD while my kids were young and in day care. I wasn't about to park in the lot of the center with all the mini van moms and strollers, car seats and kids with back packs so I parked at the place next door which was a biblical research place. The lot was always empty. The last day I took my daughter there, I bought a big box of candy and walked into that place and dropped it on the counter. The lady asked me what it was for. I said, for 4 years I have used your parking lot and nobody ever complained. She said that they enjoyed looking at my car and they didn't blame me at all. I critique a parking lot from the second I enter it. It's a curse.
  3. Happy New Year. I'm about 3 years from trading cars. :-(
  4. You guys are toooooooooo funny. Always make sure the home button is on the bottom or to your right. Steve, is that a dog or a guinea pig?????? Looks just like a GP my daughter once had. What is it? It is totally cute.
  5. Mostly ranges between $1.95 to $1.99.
  6. You are going to find this hard to believe. I just paid $1.91 for 93 octane. Of course, I used my Kroger card and I had earned $.50 off per gallon. Awesome!
  7. Excelllent! I always had something left over that I didn't know where it came from.
  8. My 2 cents worth. Take pics before you take something apart so you will know how everything goes back together.
  9. Remember, those 60/70/80's cars had only 12 month 12k mile warranties too. Seems like you were always taking a car back for warrantee work. My S2000 had zero issues in the 4 1/2 years I owned it. I have seen it and talked to the new owner. He only had one repair and it still looked brand new. It was an '03.
  10. When I think "woman's car", I generally think of something easy to see out of and handles well. Also, most women have to do most of the carpooling and stuff like that. 99% of women don't give a rat's azz about horsepower. Thank God I'm one of the 1% ers.
  11. We are trying to get rid of this A-Hole. I delete his posts as fast as I can find them.
  12. An hour....really. So much for break in period, oh wait....he did break it in. I'm sorry. It is just almost funny. 707 hp is ridiculous for a street car. You should have to take a driving course before you can own one.
  13. I had a '77 280Z. You talking about high maintenance....SHEESH! It was a fun little car though. GM's always rusted around the back window first. Didn't take it long either. My Z-car had rusted quarter panels. I had the car painted and damned if it didn't just come right back.
  14. Probably lives in mommie's basement and has a complete set of Star Wars Pez dispensers.
  15. Isn't that funny? And got horrible gas mileage. I consider my car a slug and she has 204. BTW, Denny. I had a terrible thing happen. Somehow I lost my drivers side antler. I was sick. I don't know how in the world it came off. I have had those on 4 or 5 different vehicles. :-(
  16. Yup. That is when America fell in love with Toyota, Datsun and Honda.
  17. Hey hey hey!!!!!!! :-(
  18. That's why they are called Rustangs. Teeheehee
  19. I think the Mustang is considered a woman's car of the pony cars. From what I've seen posted on an F-body site, they are smaller and easier to drive than Camaros, Firebirds or Challengers.
  20. If you aren't supposed to drink and drive, why do bars have parking lots? Love me some George Carlin.
  21. I knew a guy that ordered a '69 Camaro with tunnel-ram. The manifold and carbs came in the trunk.
  22. I always liked the saying, my car has motors, the starter and the windshield wipers. :-)
  23. I'm sure. But, it is still an engine. :-)
  24. Me????? Sweet????? Nevah! For some reason, when you just buy an engine it is called a crate motor. Might just be a southern redneck thing.
