  1. Only Virginia that I know of, Paul. Like I think I have said before, Piperton, TN is nothing but a speed trap blip on the map. Some of my drive is 35 mph, the rest is 40. Way too easy to creep over. Especially on a beautiful day with a favorite song one the radio. I don't roll without it on.
  2. Wow. That is awesome. I'm too anal to have a cord running across my dash. I had the coolest RD mount in my 370Z, but it won't work with my mirror on this car. Held it good and tight right under the mirror.
  3. I can't stand those things. They make too much noise. The antlers are much more aerodynamic.
  4. They were saying on the news this am that we had some places that were $1.99. I'll have to look and see. Our gas is cheap because Memphis has a refinery, also oil travels on the Mississippi River. Of course, my little finicky car has to have 93 octane though.
  5. :D I hated to replace my old dectector. It had saved me so many times, but the case had cracked where you put the batteries in and it was just time for an update. I also found this little sticky pad mount on Amazon. It got really good reviews. Makes a nice clean mount and will end the awful circles on my windshield and stop any rattling. I don't see how it is going to hold it in place, but I guess I will find out. I will have to lift it off about once a month to change the batteries out. I'll let y'all know how I like it.
  6. Aw Lex.....I'm sorry. Your car would make an awesome reindeer. Those have actually been on my S2000, G37, 370Z and now my Lexus. I love them.
  7. Nice. Civics are fun to drive. When I "repossessed" the one from my daughter, I had fun driving it for a few months.
  8. Of course, I love almost everything about my car, but it Is the little attention to detail that I appreciate about a Lexus. I love the fact that a few seconds after you use the windshield washers, they swipe one more time to catch any drips that's might have run back down the glass. I know that seems a little silly, but it is a great idea and I've never seen any other car do it.
  9. Meguiar's Natural Shine. I like it because it isn't too shiny and greasy looking. Just a real nice rich look. Also, the smell doesn't last too long. I get a small kitchen sponge and cut it in half and use that to apply it. It might take longer, but you have excellent control over where the product goes. I don't want it on any of my gauge cluster.
  10. The Ford Fusion is an awesome car. I drove a rental. The seats were more comfortable than mine. I still think they don't need to mix the Lexus and Toyota styling.
  11. Is it just me, or does the new Camry have a spindle grill? IMO, shame on Toyota. If that look is supposed to be a Lexus brand exclusive, don't carry it down throughout the whole line. What next, Scion?
  12. Audi has definitely improved the looks of their vehicles. They turn my head now and never did before.
  13. I had an awesome day at my mom's retirement home. I got to speak to and thank a lot of our fine veterans. One guy had on a tshirt that said " have you hugged a WWII veteran today"? I gave him a big ole hug and thank you. Thanks all!!!!!
  14. Welcome Gilbert. Good luck finding the right car. I had a Honda S2000. It was a fun ride. I really love my IS though. There is nothing like a Lexus.
  15. This is one of the easiest sites to post on. You can upload directly from your computer. Most of them you have to put the pic on a site like Photobucket, then copy the link. Come'on and try. I'm sure you can do it.
  16. Love the side shot of the car Lex. Awesome wheels. Who is the cutie pie in the goggles?
  17. Here, it is white Chargers. I panic every time I see one. :whistles:
  18. It's just popped. Pretty typical at dealer auctions for all the hoods to be up. ;)
  19. Why is the hood on the silver car misaligned? Is it just not closed all the way?
