Yeah, we are real life, down in the trenches kind of folks.

You know your neighbors better than I do. Mine are kind of boring and old. There are no public schools out here so there aren't many young families. There is one house right by the entrance to the neighborhood that always has cool cars. He must be some kind of dealer. Always cool Vettes and stuff. There is one Vette he has out there sometimes that is totally blacked out except the red calipers. So wicked looking. Other than that, boring cars, SUVs and trucks.......except my precious Lexie of course.

I saw one the other night walking into the Grizzlies game. I think it was a dark blue but it was hard to tell at night. I told my hubby that that was my next car! Looks great in person.

Welcome! Sounds to me like that piece would be very necessary for proper operation of the belt. I'm would get it fixed immediately. Was it like that when you bought it? I would think the safety equipment would be under warrantee for a long time. Call your dealership.

I never buy that kind of stuff. Partly because I take such good care of my car and partly because they wouldn't be pushing it if they weren't making money from it. I have been driving for 44 years. I only have had 2 door dings and never damaged a rim. But, I'm a very good attentive driver and I park way out away from everybody else. I also wax my car twice a year with very good wax. I guess you need to consider your habits to see if you think it is necessary.

That's a good idea. Maybe go through a touchless car wash with a passenger and look like crazy at all openings while the water is spraying hard.

Memphis has awesome springs and falls. Beautiful flowers in spring and beautiful color in the fall. Summers are hot and humid, winters are cold. We get all 4 seasons here. We are just here because hubby has a great job. As soon as he retires, we are headed someplace warmer, more tropical and laid back.

Oh yeah. Bluetooth is the way to go. As soon as I crank my car it starts playing the music on my iPhone. So awesome. I don't have to touch a thing. It is funny, when I'm going to wash my car and I go back it out of the garage, it will pick up my phone sitting in my kitchen in my purse!! I love Steve Jobs. My he rest in iPeace.

Something is wrong. Mine work great. I don't know why dealerships like to tell everybody that nothing is wrong. If my seats are on high and my heater on high, I can ride with my top down even if the temps are only in the high 50s.

I agree with your earlier statement. Alcohol is for people, not cars.
