Every time I see a real vintage muscle car, I have to do a double take. I saw a '70 Cuda the other day. I had to do a double take to see why the Challenger looked so funny and then I realized what it was. It was awesome too. I also have to do that when I see a real '69 Mustang and a real '69 Camaro.
When I had my WS-6 Trans Am, I had a muffler shop install an old fashioned cut-out on it then had someone make me a plate with about a inch and half diameter hole. Very illegal I'm sure, but it sounded awesome.
We bought the team from Vancouver Canada. They were already the Grizzlies.
I hated basketball and someone that David works with gave him a pair of tickets. I fell in love at first game. So fast and exciting and physical. We have some awesome players, but since we are a small market team we don't get any recognition. Marc Gasol made it to the All Star game this year. First time a Grizzlie has ever been a starter. We are really good. When we go to the playoffs you should watch a game. You will probably hear me. I am quite vocal to say the least.
Memphis Grizzlies. Our NBA team. We are hot this year. Hubby and I have been season ticket holders for 9 years and we have supported them through some pretty lean times.
I hate to tell you what the last sticker was that I put on a car because you are going to see me in my former redneck life. When I first got my Z28 I put a "Fear This" decal on the windshield.
Lawdy!!!!!! REDNECK!
I can't remember the last time I put a sticker on my car. I'm just so proud of my Grizzlies!!! I'll take it off when the season is over. Hopefully, it is after we win it all.
I just noticed that you are from Arkansas. You didn't buy that from Lexus of Memphis did you? They are the king of saying it is supposed to be like that.
BS!!!!!!! My paint on my IS is smooth as silk. I would take it to the dealership and have the bodyshop manager look at it. If your dealership is like mine and doesn't have a bodyshop, I would find a good one and get their opinion.
I saw a brand new GT-R on a showroom floor and it had the worst orange peel I have ever seen on a new car. I couldn't beleive it.
I keep my tranny in the sport mode. For some reason every time I take it in for service, they turn it back to normal. I'm not normal!!!!!
They also always take my headlights off of automatic. It really makes me mad. They don't need to be messing with my settings.
I guess I was just in a silly mood. I knew I would have to reset it once I got over it so I just wanted to see if I could hold it. Not a problem at all. Weeeeeeee!
I read once about accelerating in a curve so the torque of the engine will make the car level up. That is when I love my little aluminum left foot pedal. I hate it though when my top is down because the sun hits it and it reflects right into my eye.
OK guys. Thanks a lot for making me drool all over my iPad!!!!! Beautiful car. It would look so awesome sitting next to Lexie. One for above 65 degrees and one for under.
Reminds me of how awful the engine compartment was on my Z28 and how hard it was to get it show worthy. A thousand wires and sensors and the opti-spark which was like the distributor that you COULD NOT get wet, plus GM was too stingy to put clear coat on the painted part under the hood. It was ugly no matter what I did.
I have one CD that stays in my car player. It is all my favorite Christmas songs that I made into a CD. It just stay in there and I play it in December.
Funny that we are on this topic. My new radar detector just halfway paid for itself. Nice sunny day, good song on the radio, trees overhanging a country road.....ahhhhhhh. Then all of a sudden, BEEP! Whew. I was doing 15 over.
That halftime show was awesome!!!! I would love to see her in person.
I was at Bonefish at halftime and they had the sound off. I'll have to google and watch it with sound. I won 3 of my 5 wacky bets. Probably just broke even. All in all.....it was a great game.
