  1. Here's the PDF's with the specs and the drawings of the assembly. The driveshaft flanges torque at 58 lbs ft Propellor_Shaft_Dat.pdf Propeller_shaft_install.pdf
  2. It's the flanges at the front and rear couplings of the drive shaft. My Lexus service people tell me that they've never found any that actually needed to be torqued.
  3. We went through this with a car in GB, I believe. There was something about the European cars having some wiring junctions in that area instead of the little compartment. All the US cars have the sunglasses holder there. If you really want to try to put one in, you might be want to enquire at http://www.lexus-parts.com/
  4. You relax sir. I don't know where you usually post but you're in Bart's back yard now.
  5. It's good to see you're following up on this. Talk's cheap, but the actions you are taking are to be admired.
  6. The DRL system wouldn't fire up HID bulbs. They run on low power reduced by the resistor in the pics that I linked. It's your normal high beams running on low power. I don't think you'd want your high beams as HID running full power in the daytime. That would probably even be illegal. You could, however maybe put in some hyper white bulbs to make the DRL's a little less yellow.
  7. There's not all that much they check at that mileage that you can't have done somewhere else or check yourself. I get my oil changed at a local oil change place and do all the other filters and stuff myself. I don't plan on taking it to the dealer until the 36 month checkup.
  8. TSIB = Technical Service Information Bulletin
  9. It's good as long as your car is still in warranty.
  10. If it's not classified as an at fault accident then the insurance may not penalize you. Check with your agent. I think they'll advise you honestly.
  11. So it's your opinion that we should go? Go where?
  12. You need to hold the button for a few seconds. Can you fully turn it of in an '06? Or is it just the stability that can't be turned off? You can to like the post above yours says. It turns off almost all the nanny stuff.
  13. I haven't seen one but here's an IS200 forum. http://my.is/forums/f91/
  14. Check out this post. Maybe the wire to the box with the yellow warning label is unplugged. http://my.is/forums/f64/drl-mods-full-power-disable-350087/
  15. They come on whenever the engine is running..
  16. Do whatever you feel like doing then. We're not really here to debate whether you try to cheat on taxes or not.
  17. Some people go to Luxury Motor Works for service. They have some former Lexus techs and charge less than the dealers. http://www.luxurymotorworks.com/
  18. The tax people have lists of car values. If you make it some ridiculous amount they'll catch you. And if you put a silly amount on the bill of sale, what you gonna say when you go to sell the car yourself?
  19. Don't know then. You'll probably have to have the dealer look at it.
  20. Here's how the "theft deterrent" system is supposed to work. http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...ost&id=4066 The alarm system not working may be keeping the radio from working. Maybe if you reset the ECU by disconnecting the battery negative (black) wire for 10 minutes and then reconnecting, they system will reset.
  21. It means somebody got the gold package.
