One time coming back from Lux, we flew into London to catch a plane back to the states. I had checked my big suit case and had a little nylon zip bag with my essentials and clothes from the day before as carry on. I had inadvertenly placed my dirty undies as the top items of the bag. We had to go through a check point before entering the main terminal. The woman behind the counter asked to see my bag. She opened it up, saw the dirty undies, and gave the bag back to me as fast as she could. After that I always packed dirty undies in the top of my carry on.

My point is that there is absolutely no need for you to be an !Removed! about it.

That would have been an illegal sale. All sales in the US require a NICS check and the filling out of a permanent federal form 4473. Some states may have more stringent laws, but thay cannot have any less than the federal laws. I don't believe you can infer from that anything about state CC laws unless you have read or at least are familiar with the state laws. I believe I'm qualified to say that as I have followed the enaction of the newer state concealed carry laws and I also was a FFL holder/gun dealer with a class 3 (machine guns etc) tax stamp for over 10 years. An FFL holder must know the laws as it's his !Removed! if he gets caught in violation, even if not on purpose.

Yeah I read that. The dude just likes flowery and trite language, but nowhere in the article does he say he actually drove the car.

After they took away all the citizens' guns in GB, the violent crime rates went up and police who never carried before began to carry guns. Apparently the criminals became bolder. Go figger. In this state, carry permits are at the sheriff's discretion. If one gets caught brandishing, he will get his permit pulled. Most states requre a concealed carry course, and a background check before issuing carry permits. Criminals not knowing who is carrying and who is not, makes a really good deterrent. Stringent gun laws do not make for safer cities. LA, NYC, Chi, and DC are all proof of that. I've only ever pulled my pistol once, but it saved my car and my life when a carjacker tried to break out my window. This, in the middle of the day on a major route in a small country town. There was no rush involved, but just a calm and practiced reaction to the threat. I too carry a Air Taser when in non carry areas, but in some cities those are illegal for civilians, due to outmoded laws going back to when Tasers were powerd by gun powder instead of air. I'll take my chances with it though since it isn't classed as lethal. However, our permits are now valid in most of the states in which I travel so no problem.

1. K&N has just put out the call for cars to test their new IS intake. Haven't heard anything about a drop in filter yet. 2. To get to the low beam lights you have to remove the airbox on the passenger side and the washer fluid filler neck on the driver side. It's not easy but some people have done it to do a HID conversion. It's all done from above with the hood open. Some have done the fog lights too. There you have to go in from the fender well. 3. Luxury Motor Works already has an intake available and is testing an exhaust system. The OEM body kits are now available from dealers or online from Carson Lexus. Blitz showed a car with body kit, a supercharger, and some other stuff. Not sure when any of that will be available. 4. There are files from the owner's manual posted as stickies at the top of this forum. A handy reference.

I agree totally with what you said. I've been known to rant a little myself on the subject. We won't ever forget and we won't back down. I was born in 1939 so I was cognizant of WWII. All I ever remember hearing on the radio was war news, and I had two uncles fighting in Europe and one in the Pacific. I'll never forget my grandmother's reactions to news on the radio and her fear of almost every knock on her front door. When the end of the war was announced I remember asking my mom, what was going to be on the radio then. I figured all the radio was for was to hear the war news. Those are some things I'll never forget. Good stuff. I'm "borrowing" those two for a political board I post on.

In the US the base seats were "escaine", which is a type of synthetic suede. The seat backs and seating surfaces are suede like while the edge trim is a leather that almost seems like vinyl.

I think that's where your cabin air filter is supposed to be, and then a plastic cover that closes off that slot.
