  1. Consider trade for IS350, it's significantly quicker with only small increase in fuel consumption.
  2. Tesla paid it's government loan, not that it matters here. The S's are selling very well here.
  3. Great pictures, looks luxurious.
  4. Interesting. The friend that I was talking about with his mazda used to manage 2 chevron stations and of course used nothing but Chevron for many years. It was only when he got his mazda that he ran into a problem. I use nothing but Chevron in my Lexus, Mercedes and Mazda. Really have no complaints since using Chevron gas since 1996.
  5. Yep, I run nothing but Chevron in my cars. And my Mazda is a little stinky when cold sometimes.
  6. Welcome. Hope you enjoy the new Lexus.
  7. Certainly the top of line Volvos have many of the attributes expected, plus some (and somewhat taken for granted with many Lexus vehicles) of premium cars, very good competitive products. I still admire the positive safety influence of Volvo on Ford products. But when comparing Volvo to Lexus (Lexus being an example of a successful premium brand in US market), not even close in terms of overall reliability across model lines, dealer service, resale value (which impacts greatly cost of ownership) and style .
  8. I've owned too many cars to count, and not once even considered a Mitsubishi or Volvo, won't be missing them if it happens.
  9. Maybe yours aren't working--I definitely hear mine. Mine are quiet at lower effective settings used.
  10. Wow. But I don't want to or need to hear my ventilated seats working. Glad my Lexus seats are quiet.
  11. In answer to the thread title - Yes, yes I do... Just kidding. I don't think things are all doom and gloom but changes are needed. Yes.
  12. IS-F's seem to be hold value quite well. The proven reliability is probably a factor.
  13. Bob - Then what happened? Find out anything?
  14. Same here (in northern CA), they work as expected in my IS350 sedan with gray leather seats.
  15. Dealership badging is rare in California, thankfully. Certainly that belongs in garbage can.
  16. First tests of 2014 IS350 show it to be a bit slower in 0-60 acceleration than outgoing IS350, maybe it's the extra weight.
  17. bartkat - Thanks for reply. I tend to use my IS350 for a weekend-only car too, therefore it has 45K miles. Also still runs like new.
  18. 2014 IS350 is ending up being slightly slower than previous gen, probably due to extra 100+ pounds of weight. But the reviews and road tests are putting the 2014 near the top of class, with great handling, refinement, luxury, ride, interior features and comfort.
  19. So subjective, it doesn't matter, even if it's still fun. Most car enthusiasts will make own decisions. Yes, the new GS interior is top notch.
  20. Investors are definitely taking very significant risk with this company, I'm hoping this ends up being a business success story even if it's way too early to know. I see these Teslas on the road everyday now.
