And always walk away from a deal that doesnt meet that criteria...They will call, I promise...and meet your terms...Frankly go through the internet salesman and avoid the pain...They have given me the best deal ever twice. First hope you are in a Credit union, they will give you the best interest. Maybe look for a LEXUS RX400h hybrid...might find one for $25k with lots of miles...She would fall in love with it...

OH I would have them...Print that info out and Then in a firm tone, but polite, tell them you expect repair of the paint, and a reduction in refund of an amount agreeable to you of the purchase price...Or maybe a compromise of an extended warranty for free...I believe there are laws that protect the consumer from buying a new item that has been damaged, and not disclosed.

I actually used window screen on my RX300 tied it on with cable ties through the bumper support struts...worked well.You will laugh but I used a barbeque grill from big lots and cut the grill in half and again attached with cable ties...

I have heard that problem before...I installed a mesh over the front of the air intake to prevent that kind of damage...funny had a 99RX for 12 years and never experienced that...the new condensors must be cheap...cant even take a small hit...I would further be furious with that dealership...If they really wanted customer loyalty they would have covered it.

Steve thankyou for info on Toyo tires...really weird they were quiet when it was colder...warm weather makes them squishy...as for the other noise, definetely was not the wheel bearings...without the drums on the rear the wheels were quiet....

If the confined space is a garage door, many have put a foam barrier on the inside of the door so the lid doesnt hit it...Pipe insulations works well...

Well I tried a quick fix of adjusting the emergency brake shoes...The right rear was difintely rubbing hard...Sound is better but still there...When adjusted by specification the shoes rub just a little...AS for the tires they are Toyo and just noisey...The pressure was at 37lbs.... At least I know things are OK, just a little noisey...I may take brakes apart and make sure everything is lubed well..The shoes need to slide in their retracted mode freely...

If you do that make sure to tape of the piston area...Even one grain of sand would score the piston and destroy the seal...Try Harbor Freight Tools, with a 20% off coupon they might have just what you want for cheap..

The scrape noise is diffinetly the emergency brake shoes...they are not rusted but I will readjust them...I will check tire pressure...

the is a 10a dome fuse in the fuse box...it does fire the instruments also...as for checking fuses you pull it and look through it. There should be a continuous path from from one spade to the other spade. for reference look at a known good fuse and compare. A voltmeter makes the job much easier by measureing resistance through the fuse it should measure 0 ohms when good. However the fuses are made for visual inspection.

To be honest, the brakes were serviced once resurface the rotors and new pads spring 2009 @ 35000miles) unnecessarily in my opinion, and the vehicle has now 47,000 miles and the brakes perform relatively well. But, I did not some scoring on the rear rotors, and given the price I got on some replacement pads and rotors, I never like to leave the caliper piston compressed too low for a long period of time (vehicle was purchased June 2006). That seems extremely early for that service...I know my old RX300 went 80k miles before the pads even needed service...By the way the rear pistons do compress without a tool...The brake job is just a simple one.
