  1. Unfortunately, I never called them. I just went over, since I used to live in Syracuse. I believe it's called Upstate Auto Wreck but I'm not sure. You could also ask Dorchel where they junk their body shop cars? As for Parts, tell me what you need, and I'll get them for you. Try this too. http://www.junkyarddog.com/cgi-bin/request...r/requester.cgi
  2. It's probably shared with another-aftermarket manufacturer, since Toyota doesn't make the wheels. You could probably find something similar out there. You could try out tire rack or some magazines like Low-rider and Euro-rider. you might be able to spot them.
  3. Hey, some of them need to come down from the clouds. The others shouldn't have a license.
  4. hey AWJ: How did this get moved to the SC Forum? It's an LS Topic.
  5. You crashed into another car or a snow bank, didn't you. ;) For the front bumper I would recommend the Junk Yard in Cicero, NY. Burdick Lexus in North Syracuse and a couple of other dealers drop their cars off there. What ever you don't get from AWJ, Private message me. I know of a place where you can get the parts cheap Happy Hunting
  6. 95 Sc300. I'm definitely interested in the getting a 2JZGTE as long as I can find the 6speed. My stock engine is 2Jz-Ge, but I'm not convinced in what kind of Turbo would best give me the highest output Numbers. I'm a little bit more confident in getting my money's worth from the GTE. http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/Pit/997...engineXref.html The GTE2 is a second Gen Japanese Supra engine. I know the Denso Supra in the GT500 Series has it, but it could have been built by either Denso or Toyota.
  7. Nah, I blame Toyota and Nissan of North America. If they found a way around the Insurance problem, we might have been able to play with all Japanese models-left and right hand drive cars with their turbo models. :(
  8. Well I see it as if it doesn't workout, I'll have to get the Aftermarket ones. SPW has made a HID Universal Kit for the 9006. I was hoping to save a few bucks, but I guess I can spend $400. By the way, have you ever used Clearcorners.com or know anybody who has? They've renovated the Headlight assembly for the SCs. Any recommendations? :)
  9. Good call Zeta. Now I know where to go for customization, but the prices are terrible.
  10. I'd upgrade my suspension and brakes after the intake and exhaust. Maybe even a pair of 5pt harnesses to keep you and your passenger alive, but that's just me.
  11. "lol... the girl in the sig pic of Hyori and my avatar is BoA... both korean singers." Cute :) Yeah, you're right. It looks like it's a different series bulb.
  12. I like the ones off the current LS430's. Then again, I'm planning to get 18" Carlson's, once my brakes are done. I believe there is a supercharged 2000 LS400 out there in Australia doing mid 13s
  13. I don't think the ECU can be modified and still be US Legal. It would have to be aftermarket, but don't quote me on that. The only one I might get is the TechII from TOM's. http://www.tomsracing.co.jp/index3.html. It can be modified on the fly.
  14. Oh, don't get me wrong, there are definitely girls who can kick a$$. My girlfriend is one of them. Once I had trouble keeping up with her ;) , and I'm a F5k Driver.
  15. I thinkI going to need to check that out. A friend of mine modified a MB S-Class H4 HID System to fit on his prelude. I'm thinking the D2s and D2R are model types and not bulb types. As far as I know, the bulb manufacturers only have H4, 9006, 9005... and the manufacturers just made the ballasts and harnesses to suit their wants and desires. I think I'll have to check it out with the dealer to see what needs to be modified. If not, I'll have to get an aftermarket. Do you know of anyone who's tried out clearcorners.com's lightings? By the way, who is this girl that's on your posts?
  16. oh yeah. I replaced that, but through the dealer. It cost me a lot $$2-3k. I can get you the parts once you have a list ready. I would definitely recommend someone experienced/knowledgeable. Definitely a lift. not a drveway job.
  17. I take it, you want to switch to HID or just replace the bulbs. For the headlight bulb on the 90-94 should be the same, H4. For the HID conversion, there is a problem. You will most likely loose your high-beam, but the low-beam is really bright. The company below says they've made a dualbeam H4 Kit, but my installer is telling me that the wires are not the same as a Honda Civics'. SPW replied back with the answer, there is a modulator or Switch that adjust power into the ballaster. I never followed up with that, but I know my are capable. http://www.spwusa.com/manu.asp?dept=11&manu=105 See if this helps.
  18. Experiencing that with my SC300. Since all of your rear lights are active, I believe it might be ground wire issue. I can't help you solve it yet since I don't know where it is, but hopefully soon. This will shed some light on the subject
  19. I can't help you with the cushion issue. I'm experiencing the same problem. There is an uppolstery shop here in DC I would recommend using, but they might be too far. For your rotors and pads. If you're still interested in stock Rotors and pads, PM me. I could get them much cheaper for you. I am currently working with a company to build the very first Big Front and Rear Slotted/Cross Drilled Brake Kit for the 90-94 model year LS400s. Once they are done, I'll let everybody know. There is another source if you're interested in. http://www.statixbrakes.com/brakepros.asp. Stillen has made a stock size slotted or crossdrilled brakes for the LS400s
  20. It's kind of active with repair information and curiosity questions. Welcome to the Forum.
  21. If you're going through a dealer, OOPS. From what I've experienced with dealers, they charge the most on Labour. Tune-up consist of: Spark plugs replacement spark wire inspection/replacement. ---These are the two most important Tune-up things.---The rest of them are not necessary, but good to know. Fuel Injection cleaning and some other crap. Check the Warranty and Repair schedule book that came with the owners manual.
  22. Junk yards are the most popular place for replacement parts. If that doesn't suit you, I could probably get you a cheaper deal on the Caps themselves. PM me if you're interested in the replacement parts.
  23. I hope you weren't in an accident? If you were, then you should have the repair shop re-aim them to meet State-Specs. If I remember correctly, there are two adjusting screws, one on top and one on the bottom towards the grill. if you re-adjust them, the housing will move. You don't have to take it the dealerr. Any State inspection station or repair/body shop have the ability to re-adjust them. It should not cost you anything, at most $20 for the losers who want to charge. If they charge more, I'll create directions on how to re-adjust them.
  24. 96lexusls: Are you changing just the lights or the entire housing?
  25. You could always add one. I enjoyed putting my Pioneer together. :)
