  3. No raggin on women, just givin my wife sh*t. And now I have a full size matching spare.
  4. Jun 15th my wife was driving home and crossed a set of tracks at 40 MPH (the speed limit) and BOOM the side wall of the front passenger tire blew out. The asphalt had settled between the tracks and left 4-5 inches of exposed steel band that holds the concrete in place.:chairshot: Thus denting the rim and causing a blow out. Here is pictures of the damage. The damage $625 for the rim and $320 for the tire, plus shipping for the rim from JAPAN. Get this, 3 weeks if they have it in stock or 3 months if they have to make it. What a hassle. Since then I have had the snow wheels/tires on (ugly stock ones). Two months later after filing a claim with BNSF (Burlington Northern Santa Fe) I got a check for $1000. I got enough to purchase a new rim and tire, plus have enough left over to take the little lady out to dinner, at McDonalds ha ha ha.
  5. My grandfather is an authorized Interstate Battery dealer and the local Interstate dealer in town sales Optima batteries. I will have to see if I can get them at dealer cost? I know that I can get Interstate Batteries at cost.
  6. AMERICAN MUSCLE 1969 Mach 1 Mustang 130 - 140 MPH (speedo only goes to 120 but it pegged and went around to 0 MPH) I-5 Nor Cal Scary enough for me, I don’t think that cars where suppose to go that fast in 1969. 10. Who knows what the best Optima battery is for a 2000 GS300. I checked on Optima's web site and they state this: Please enter the following information about your car, and find which OPTIMA is right for you. There are no matches for this vehicle. LEXUS GS300 2004-1998 L6 3.0L :chairshot: Who has a Optima battery in their GS300? Does it matter what size it is or do I just get a matching one in size. Thanks in advance for all of the help.
  11. I have SilverStars in my 00 GS300, high, low and fog. They last about one year and then the all start to going out. I spent over $119.97 for all three sets. I called Sylvia and that is the life expectancy. You got to be joking me, right. You spend $40 for a set of bulbs and then the only last one year. That is B.S. SO I am going to put in aftermarket HID's. I think I am going to get 6000k. But what every ones preference on manufactures? What is the life of the H I D bulbs?

  16. There is two different ways to adjust the headlight beams, Vertical and Horizontal. First make sure that the vehicle is on a level surface like Turbo said. Use this gauge for the Vertical adjustment The bubble of the gauge should not deviate from the center of the gauge by more than 2 marks to either side of the gauge. If the bubble is out of the acceptable range for the beam angle gauge, adjust it using the inner bolt (closes to the engine). The Horizontal gauge is a little harder to see. Here it is on the passenger side It is located inside of the headlight lens on the lower outside lip of the lens assembly. This picture show it on the drivers side . The mark should not deviate by more than one more to either side of the gauge. If the edge of the lens does not match the "0" mark then adjust the lends by using the outer bolt (closes to the fender). The hardest part is finding a level road. Let me know if you have any more questions.
  17. Premium only! It only costs around $2 more every fill up and it better on the motor and you get a better MPG ratio. Do the math its a no brainer.

  20. Here is a picture of the location of your cabin air filter. Also check in your owners manual. It is in your glove box area. You have to remove the plastic read wall of the glove box that opens out with the glove box door. Then grab both wings that are located to left of the circles in the picture to remove that plate. Push down and pull out on the filter housing and it will come out. Do a search in the forum for info on a replacement filter, it is all there and some more.
