$1200 seems like an awfully high quote, just for fluid flushes.
Add on to your list; distributor caps, distributor rotors, spark plug wires, spark plugs and PCV valve.
I'm not sure if a 93-94 speed sensor would work with your application. 90-94's platform are basically the same but I'm not sure if the electrical components remained unchanged. Maybe someone could chime in?
HCM? I still consider it Saigon. Haha. My friends and I were planning a trip back there this summer. If everything goes as planned then I'll be seeing you soon.
I had a plan to have body kits produced in VN and have them shipped to the states. I can provide the mold. Do you happen to know people over there that can make this happen for me?
Try putting 15" rims back on your car, to see if the GPS is accurate.
I was born in Da Nang. My last vacation to VN was almost 9 years ago. Your English is pretty good...were you taught at school, in VN?
I've never had communication problems with the MODIS. The paper clips the tech used probably didn't make solid contact to the MAF wire. The reason the MIL didn't light up is because those are "soft" faults...MIL will light up on "hard" faults or second trip failures.
I'm not into Lexus' anymore so I'm not sure where you could source a "kit" from. I can help you piece together your own kit though. Are you going to install it yourself?
