twodmax Posted March 4, 2007 Posted March 4, 2007 Are the $20 ones just as accurate - what do you use?
Gryphon Posted March 4, 2007 Posted March 4, 2007 I have a Cen-tech from Harbor Freight--works fine. Tom

twodmax Posted March 5, 2007 Author Posted March 5, 2007 Are the $20 ones just as accurate - what do you use? ...as in load tester? yes, something I colud also use on motorcycle and other toys
92Lex Posted March 5, 2007 Posted March 5, 2007 I use a Snap-On DVOM but I'm sure that most DVOM's are up to par. To replicate "load"; just turn on the headlights, A/C, radio and put the car in gear.
anthonyiez Posted March 5, 2007 Posted March 5, 2007 i have one made by midtronics. they make the most forward thinking battery testers out there and i would argue the best. mine was about $1200. there's no comparison between a quality digital battery tester and an old fashion load tester or a dvom.
