EC Maine Posted March 18, 2024 Posted March 18, 2024 (edited) I have a 1990 Lexus ES250 with a power steering leak. My mechanic has figured out which part needs replacing, Lexus part# 44410-32401. We have been hunting for this part for many weeks now and can't find it anywhere. I am in mid-coast Maine. This is a high pressure line (1400 psi based on what my mechanic says). The car is in very good shape, only 88K miles. It would be a shame for it to be undrivable because of this one part. Does anyone know a shop who could custom make the part for me? Here's a schematic of the part. Edited March 18, 2024 by EC Maine add more info
JMSC Posted June 7, 2024 Posted June 7, 2024 Some auto parts stores will make a line for you if you take the old one they can use as a sample. If not, do a search for a hydraulic repair shop. They make lines for all kind s of heavy duty machinery and may be able to make yours.
