im sorry, im not a big fan of removing emblems from my cars, mostly because the most expensive part of the car is that L, lol. Someone posted something about removing emblems on the IS forum just two days ago, i would check out what people said over there.

Just something i've always wondered about; is it still legal if the badges are removed?

If someone needed to identify the make & model of the car (maybe if the person driving appeared intoxicated), how could they without the badges on the trunk?

Should I affix a University emblem to my 2006 LX470 with 5k miles. How easy it to remove. please give me your feedback and why

thanks

You're talking about a sticker? How big? If you put it on the glass, then it can be pretty easily removed with a razor blade scraper. If you put it on the paint, it's going to be much more difficult and IMHO would look tacky anyway. How about a magnetic sticker that you can put on, remove, and put back on at will?

This type uses double sided tape. They're pretty easy to remove by using a fishing line and some Goo Gone.

He's talking about a Southern Methodist University logo bumper sticker.

The ONLY safe place to put one would be somewhere on your glass. Not on your metal panels, and not on your plastic bumpers - in other words, no stickers on any painted surfaces, period. And if you do decide to affix a sticker to your glass, make certain that you don't place it over any embedded defroster wires in your rear glass. The defroster will melt the glue on the sticker and possibly the sticker itself.
