Sc300 Or Sc400?

I am looking for a car that will get me decent mpg (20+) Which model can you do more mods too? also is the 300 cheaper for insurance? I was quoted 150 for full coverage for a es300. How much of an increse can i expect?

imho, The SC300 has many upgrade paths via the Supra Turbo that is close to being its mechanical twin. The other cars have some upgrade paths, that just are not as frequently travelled.

ES 300 is a nice family car.

SC 300 can be modded to 800hp beasts.

SC 400 can not be modded for more power. Both share the same suspension.

ES has better gas mileage than both.

SC400 has a supercharger option for more power. It also has a twin turbo option at cost.

SC300 in comparison is alot easier to have the Supra's twin turbo bolted on as it is a direct cousin to Supra.

However as a stock, SC400 is the way to go.

Well ive lost intrest in the es300, I like the sc's better, Whatever comes along first is probably what ill get.

.....the only main difference u would want to kno between the sc300 and sc400 is the engine size...the sc300 has a 3 liter engine and the sc400 has a 4 liter engine...the sc300 is most likely cheaper and will give u better gas mileage because of the smaller engine compacity...but u still hav to use premium gasoline so i wouldnt be worrying about 2 or 3 mpg...go with an es300 that has the 6...

if you mod like forced induction then you wont get the mileage you want.

The ES has hardly any mods for it. It cannot be modded for high performance.

The SC 400 is a low to high 6 second car based on year.

The SC 300 manual is aobut a 7 sec car.

SC 300 autos are high 7s.
