scgold Posted September 17, 2004 Posted September 17, 2004 The rpm gauge has quite working in my 94sc400. Has anyone had similiar problem and know the solution? Could this just be a loose cable if so where are the connection points located. Thanks in advance.
SKperformance Posted September 20, 2004 Posted September 20, 2004 do you have a check engine light on? If not then it is your dash that is broken
bean_8044 Posted September 20, 2004 Posted September 20, 2004 Thats wierd..i thought the RPM came from a signal off the ignition coil
dcfish Posted September 20, 2004 Posted September 20, 2004 The problem sounds like it is in the instrument cluster itself , The three connectors behind the cluster do not usually come loose [ they are a b..ch to get out ] it is probably the guage itself . Is the needle still firing ? B)
teelias Posted November 3, 2004 Posted November 3, 2004 Smack the top of the instrument cluster (curved part). It worked for me
