    • I have a whole new perspective when it comes to purchasing a Low mileage used GX460. I use to have a dealership and now my children own several in the Rocky Mountains. Two Months ago we decided to get another GX460 to replace out Toyota Pickup purchased to pull our RV as we traveled full time for the past few years.  The wholesale market on low mileage GX460's under $38,000 dollars Wholesale ($44,000 retail) are extremely limited! I the last 60 days, Nationwide there has only been eight available through Manhiem Dealers Auction that were rated in very good condition, with under 65,000 miles! Because the GX460 design is timeless the model year doesn't matter as much as the Mileage & Condition. Last week a 2017 Premium GX460 with 18,000 miles sold for $35,200 including fees. It was purchased by Lexus Dealership. I purchased it's appearance twin this week. It is in the same condition, It is two years newer being a 2019 and has higher mileage at 60,155 miles. I paid $31,800 including dealer fees for our new GX460. Now that the Bulletproof 4.6L V-8 is a thing of the past and the new turbo V6 has it's issues, many buyers want to purchase a like new GX460 before they are forever history! My advice for what is worth is don't worry too much about the year! worry more about the condition, mileage, service history and wanted options. Buying a GX460 is almost like purchasing a Classic or Custom Vehicle. There will always be a Market for Used GX460's no matter the year or mileage, people will want them for over-landing and adventure vehicles.  I hope you find the perfect GX460 for you and your family!
    • Hello so I just bought a 1992 Lexus sc400 and it sat for 6 months before I bought it, the guy said it ran fine but just sat. I got it home and hooked it up to a jump starter. It started in idle fine then I gave it some gas and then it died ever since then in order to get it running I have to crank it and push the gas down when it smells like burning oil. I changed the fuel pump so that’s not the problem, cleaned the idle valve control. When It was running and I turned the wheel I can tell the power steering is bad it was super super loud when I moved the wheel, can anyone help me?
    • UPDATE!!  I hit the trunk release and got out to look into the trunk. The lid was up to such a degree that I could see into   Thanks to all for looking the trunk, saw nothing and got back into the car. That action made me forget about the open trunk circuit. Went out this morning and pressed the li down and.....      I started to open my '02s top and as it started I thought there might be something left in the trunk so I stopped and checked the trunk. I got back in and... nothing= no up, no down. The deck lid was as far as it opened.      After posting I saw(on google) comments about a memory sea switch being involved. I tried my seat position and it didn't move Now what???
    • Hey, just today leaving work I noticed my A/C just wasn't blowing. Well, it was blowing, but only from the windshield. It was all cold air but just no matter what setting I changed it wouldn't change.  I ran a diagnostic and found out the codes it was throwing were 32,42, and 43.  I've owned the car for about 3 months, it has about 205k on the dash. Does anyone know what the issue would be exactly?  Here is what i've found for what the codes mean.  32 - Air Inlet Door Position Sensor Circuit 42 - Air Inlet Door Servomotor Circuit 43 - Air Outlet Door Servomotor Circuit   Help would be great thank you!
    • Hi!  I opted for the 5 year Superior Finish Paint Sealant, Leather Care and Windshield Protectant; it was only $1000.   This is very reasonable considering the last car I had done a 3 year ceramic coating and it was over $1500.   They also said that they would re-coat it once for free before the 5 year time is up.   Well worth the money.  The paint is so smooth and doesn't require wax at all!  Very happy with the service I have received so far with my new RX
