I hope not as that would indicate it is a used car. $18k for a '07 Civic pre-owned without certification is no deal. I would assume this is at a new Honda dealer. Curious... Does out the door translate to: Sales tax, plates/title, doc. fee included? Yes, it included Sales tax, plates/title, doc. fee. It was a Honda dealership.

On Friday, I went to the a local Texas dealership and got a $18,000 Driveout deal for 2007 Civic LX for my dad. But that day, they didn't have the car, so they had to get it from another dealership. So I gave them $1000 deposit and I went back to get the car 4 days later. In the meanwhile, when I went to my bank, I found a better new auto interest rate (2% less than dealership quoted APR), so I took the loan check from my bank to the dealership and they didn't give the car since I am not financing with them anymore, So is there anything I can do? I still have the paper I signed with the price, tax, total, depoist, etc. The manager said he assumed that I would finance with them. Thanks a bunch.

I picked my RX from the Body shop after making them re-paint. Now after re-painting, it looks much better, even though I can tell the difference a little bit if I stare very closely. He said if I am not fully satisfied, then he’ll paint it again. Do you think I should have them re-paint once again? Thanks a lot.

Yesterday, I got my RX from the body shop. I was very satisfied with dent repair part. But I was not quite happy with the painting. The paint didn't match exactly as my original OEM Bamboo Pearl. So I told them that the paint was off, so he verified by calling their main paint tech and also confirmed the paint was little off. So they were happy to take it back to their body shop to repaint. He said it's just take an extra day to repaint. I told him the original OEM paint color code # (6T1). Any suggestion or advice for me to tell the paint shop to get this done correctly. Thanks in advance.

Today 3 different PDR took a look at it, and two of them said they won't even recommend doing a PDR on it.. then one guy agreed that he'll work on it, so I dropped my RX with him, buy after 3 hours he called and told me NO LUCK, so I went and picked it up. So PDR is out of my option. Now I have to get it done through body shop.. so today, I stopped by a Nissan body shop and they game me a very good estimate I got from all 10 estimates.. so u think I should let nissan body shop work on my repair because I am little bit concern about the RX Bamboo paint.. please let me know ur option ASAP. Thanks..

someone said it's to make sure the paint doesn't crack.. can u really soften the metal with hair dryer?

I removed all the panels to push out the dent.. and I was able to get my hands inside, even though it's in a rough place.. I pushed with my hands, but it didn't even move little bit.. any other ideas? also, what's main reason to use hair blower (is it to soften up the metal).. thanks a lot...

In their car, the mirror came out of the screw (0.15", it's not noticeable unless you go close and look at it). I do not want to get my insurance involved as I already have a claim from little over 2 yrs ago.

This morning I went to 2 body shops (Service King & a local one). They both said that PDR can't be done for mine. I will be taking it to few more shops today. Service King quoted: $1400; local one: $1000. Service King kept saying that soo much have to be done to the car, etc..etc. So still trying to find a better place.

Today was a bad day. While backing up my RX330, I bumped into my parents Accord's mirror. There's a dent on my RX330 (back passenger side) and little bit of the paint also pealed out. I don't know what to do, as I am scared if it’ll cost lot to get it fix. Should I take it to a Lexus dealership? Any advice or suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot.
