  1. Does it not also come with the wiring harness plug for the factory wiring.Compared to a uhaul one that splices into the wiring? Also you can always remove it and sell it to someone else after.
  2. I added mine to the stock sub wiring and added the amp to the trunk.
  3. the shocks would only cost about $400 total and labour should only be about $200-300 for the work.
  4. You need to clean the tumbler as it is caked in dirt and sludge. Spray some pb blaster over the course of a week in quick shots and inserting the key lightly to move the tumbler. It will slowly dissolve the dirt. then spray it out with contact clean when you have finished at the end of everything. Also clean the key
  5. I have a cheap but premium soft blue one from fast wheels ,it has mirror pockets and seems to stay on unless it is really windy.
  6. Ok so it is basically like a greddy emanage or apex i fuel controller which use similar inputs for adjustments. Let me know how it goes.
  7. Getting the water out of the fuel system and burned is no problem as once it is burned it is gone and causes no harm . I would rather use a water treatment if i felt i had that much water to be bothered.
  8. What part of New york are you in?
  9. I really have to say i expected more from the instructions. Did you ask swift for further clarification as they do list it also for the LS400 as well. It would be nice if they labeled which sensors they are connecting to. Then i could cross reference my manuals for you.
  10. The year would help but frame damage has to be done in person. Kind of like telling someone over the phone they have a broken arm just because it hurts.
  11. Don't do it they look like hell as well as kill the nice properties of aerodynamics your car was made for. Find a clear bra installer in your area , it is so worth it.
  12. They also sells coils that can be installed over hoses to keep them from kinking as well as increasing the burst pressures.
  13. Make sure all the other parts like bushings are in good condition. KYB and oem are the same shock.
  14. What wires are you trying to find.
  15. Could be something is seized and only releases when there is enough weight to move it.
  16. There is water in gas station holding tanks so water is always in there. I am worried about the properties of acetone on rubber and plastic seal components. I am not sure so i am personally not using it.
  17. I don't live in a beutiful warm place like Hawaii so they are my winter rim/snow tires. My normal rims are back on my car right now. I have a body kit , it look almost like stock but once the wheels are back on it shows it more. The mufflers i have are made for the kit as well. All L-sportline. You'll also notice the black mesh insert running across the bumper telling you it is not stock.
  18. check for an egr problem as it open around that range.
  19. Well i just got an update from an auto engineer and the main reason for the darkening of the fluid is natural degradation of the rubber lines which leave debris and coat the internals. Also if the seals are worn they will allow contaminants inside the system causing the fluid to change viscosity and need to be changed over time. This also makes sense as to why my system is still getting dirtier looking even with brand new fluid as it is flushing out the debris and causing it to be suspended. Can't wait to have it flushed on the 18th.,
  20. Turbo and teins suspension , not bad

  22. Mine specifically calls for dexron. Toyota's from what i have seen all use Dexron tranny fluid in the tranny and power steering.
  23. I like a nice debate , everyone has a different way of seeing things and by far i am never right and am welcome to being wrong so next time i will be right. So far i still believe in changing the fluids and the drastic effects it has.
  24. My 98 's fluid looked just as black when i took it out if not worse. I swore someone had previously added normal PS fluid until everyone else had black fluid after a few years. The interior of the PS reservoir has now gotten even cleaner and shiner as the days have gone by . I will flush it again in another week or 2 to get the rest of old debris and dirt that is now suspended by the new fluid. One really odd thing i would add is 2 weeks before i flushed the ps lines i added a few ounces of fresh amsoil tranny fluid. Immediately after i added the clean fluid it really started to groan the next morning when cold. So i will again have to say fluid makes a big difference in noise . Besides viscosity of old oil alone should be able to stand on its own as credible enough reason to change the fluid. The PS pump has higher pressure than a tranny and engine but it not subjected to the contaminants. Also just by natural breakdown through heat cycling the antifoaming agents and other properties have to give away eventually.
