agreed an alarm is more of a conveience thing just like a lock on your front door stops an honest person but an alarm stops a theif the transponder keys make it hard to break the ignition system and start the car with one ,just tow it away and work on it in your garage

depends on the offsets and what size is the tire it looks like 225 but i don;t know

only got 92 and 93 models with a 5 speed

clean the sensor with throttle body cleaner it worked for mine

On Board Diagnostics (version) II It is law in North America for emmision controls on all cars produced after 97, it is more complicated than the first versions but easier to pin point problems when a trained tech reads the codes The first ever car was the 94 ES300

try lubing the latch assembly it must be sticky

WOW 3 sensors crap out there signals at once to the ecu you could try cleaning the throttle body first but look for an open intake crack in the tube or a vaume line that is broken or off

Heat it in an oven and open it up and claen then reheat to close and apply a silicone bead for extra sealing

Oh yah everyones car above was lowered from jic to tein and kyb's except for the 92 green ES

Was a good meet small quantity but excellent quality especially all the rare lexus with real Mods My 94 ES with a kit and the rest of crap Hammed's 99 GS 400 with the Ltuned kit hre rims 01 GS tails and stoptech brakes Vincent's 97 ES300 with the trd kit and 17 inch heidfelds ( i can't remeber the guys name again ) with a 92 ES300 with 17 inch chrome and Z3 fenders Snow whites IS300 with carbon hood full kit and black 18's Diggers IS300 black stock (Can't remeber this guys name either )with a grey IS300 with a few mods but i remeber the red horns through the grille 4 other IS300 people but i can't remeber them Not too shabby for the first meet of the year The next one we have i'll make sure is advertised in the Regional paper for maximum exposure It was funny all together for all the Lexus and toyota owners we took over the 100 car parking lot the Maxima guys barely got to squeeze in in a corner The GM grands club( grand am prix and such ) could fit so they kept driving around and left as well as some VW group one of the largest yet. get a motorvac to clean it out

you have to remoev the whoel door panel to get to them

sounds like they didn;t go to lexus to have it diagnosed it is easy enough to figure out what is wrong with it

I am not even going to ask why call lexus they probably will replace it with a different vehicle of your choice

they should be able to take it apart and clean it plus rebuild it with a kit from lexus for way less

I think $400 is a bit high get a used one

It does help a bit make sure your tires are perfect and at the most they can safely hold guarnteed great mileage
