d2r and drs bulbs are only rebased by cheap companies. You can get D2c bulbs which cover both bases and work fine . They cost $80 for a pair which is what i have and get for most people I know in 5000k to get rid of the yellow.

tps is on the engine which the 400's have . the pedal position sensor is right above the pedal , connects directly to the unit. All 430 have the dual set up which is why they are so vague compared to the 98-00 version .

Throw an aftermarket ballast in with an adapter to fit the OEM bulb and be done , who cares about warm up time when it is in fractions of seconds .

The horn is for the alarm beep on the firewall. Ambient air temp sensor is behind the rebar. Clean it .

Agreed , when in doubt . Good thing alot of us are experimental , such as my self and bought the EBC reds which bite way better than OEM but I prefer to outperform basic parts and modify for more performance oriented ones without losses .

Dent clinic meet , for all those interested it will be $120 for a full car minus hail damage. If interested pm me all of these details as it fills up quick and it is limited in spots. The first appointment is 10am and it is getting you in right when the car before finishes not the exact time which is usually give or take 15-30 minutes. I will be there at 10 until about 6 as i am organizing a full day event there like we do every year. One of the best posts regarding a problem by only relating facts and not opinion. Well done. Unfortunatly Toyota Canada is not in tune to is purchasers and only to the bottom line. They might think they are but walk into any US dealer and then a Canadian one after and you will be appauled by the level of service wether for sales service or parts. It is cheaper and eaiser to fool people into thinking they are getting the same car from the states for a similar price . So they remove the big dollar items so they can buy it cheaper and can say it is close to par when the Canadian one is in no where close. Cancel your order and buy it from the US , it is a better car and with todays exchange rate quite a bit cheaper.

LOL , thanks guys no haggling here for a new car. I need a new job first or atleast one . I am too busy looking after my 19 month old to even drive my cars anymore. Being 99 is tough since i have been 99 for the past 5 years. ( i think it can't go any higher) Plus working on my 03 GS430 takes all my left over time. But if it was a new car it would have to be a LS600H .
