This question has probably been tossed around before, but I was thinking of replacing my OEM headunit (Pioneer) with an aftermarket in-dash monitor. Since I have the OEM CD changer, am I limited to a Pioneer-branded in-dash monitor if I want to still be able to use the changer?

Just curious...got little under 39k miles on the odometer but whenever it rains I hear a very faint squeak under the hood...I think it may be the serpentine belt but I just want to know how long these belts are supposed to last Thanks

'99 GS300 with under 40k miles..Just noticed today whenever I brake I get noticeable static when the CD player is running, tried other CDs with same effect. Audio is OEM, non-navi, non-Nakamichi. Any ideas, its driving me nuts!?

I've noticed the same thing w/ my '99 GS300 too. Happens like 2-3 times a year, and I notice it only when I'm in a parking lot driving <10mph looking for a spot. Not too worried about it, just sometimes breaks the smoothness of the ride. I'm no engineer, but seems like the engine speed is borderline in terms of 1st to 2nd gear change, so when it does shift it does abruptly.
