  1. send me some contact info and i will see if i can get you a set
  2. To change the springs at the same time is going to cost the same for labour. So doing it now reduces the cost of labour all over again
  3. I would get a clear bra looks way better and protects as well .It just needs to have someone do it well by wrapping the edges so it is invisiable except on the hood.
  4. expansion valve or blockage I think if it has not enough freon it won;t blow cold at all.
  5. The rotors are already factory coated so unless all of it is removed it will flake off. My calipers have not flacked a bit
  6. look in the general maintance section
  7. look at the alternator and power steering pump to see if the seal on it is leaking
  8. Sorry i didn;t read this earlier, I have a scanner and would have done it for free
  9. for $100 an alignment is a valuable investment for gas milage ride quality and saving your tires
  10. Sounds like your alternator. Is your power steering pump leaking onto it causing ti to short and fail?
  11. try using meguires tire endurance on them ,otherwise just replace them from lexus
  12. depends on how big the area is, with a pic it is much eaier to say if you can diy it. Personally their is alot of bumper blenders around who can do it for about $100 and it can look perfect. Get it in writing that it will be a perfect match
  13. Replacing the flex isn;t hard but welding it on is annoying. Most shops i deal with won;t do it as they hardly hold. The 94 is not too hard on a lift under the car and no air tools will be a pain for sure especially with its heat rusted bolts. Make sure you buy new ones for reinstall to save some headache.
  14. smoke screen ,you are too much ,but it is worth an idea i would like. P.S. i am planngin on mounting a pinhole camera with mirror motors and a washer nozzel connected to a certain fluid for precision sniper shooting, but enough of my madness. My car ran perfectly immediatly after i cleaned the MAF , it was 2 weeks i took to figure it out after changing plugs and fuel filters for no reason. Put it this way if the problem is with the IACV all you have to do to keep it from shutting down is press the gas and it will rev until it warms and no longer needs the extra air for cold/hot starts. So if pressing the gas pedal makes no difference i wouldn;t bother with it although it is always agood part of maintance.
  15. I back you 100% not like that will do you anything. It is unacceptable to have any Lexus dealer to not jump when their is a problem with any vehicle they sell in such a short time. It is good to know that that is not the par for Lexus dealers as most are more than on the ball with these situations. It really is unfortunate that they are so behind and lacking in their responses . This is what this forum is about, owners learning about their cars and sharing expericanes in repairs, modifications and dealers. I hope more than a few people veiw this and recognize the crap the "this" dealer is feeding customers.
  16. The rotors are warped, i amguessing the harder you press and the higher the speed the more noticable the shake in the steering wheel is. You can resurafe them but i prefer to just replace them as resurfacing increases the chances of them warping again faster . The main reason is you are now causing them to be cut straight but now the rotors are unbalanced and have different amounts of metal on the circumfrance this can cause even moer issues later. Rotor warping comes from being too agressive on the brake pedal causeing higher heat levels which when cooled fast like when it is raining or the car is being washed the forces of extreme cooling causes the rotors to warp.
  17. then put it back with crazy glue and then use some black ureathane to smooth out the crack
  18. I commend you on your effort , what did headoffice have to say about the problem.
  19. BTW i forgot to add you made a great first post ,very detailed ,i love it. I would clean the maf with a cotton swab and throttle body cleaner. I had the same problem once after a highway downshift ,all of a sudden it stubbled and ran like hell. As soon as i cleaned it 2 weeks later it ran like new again.
