  1. milf guy: STOP yelling. Typing in all CAPS is considered rude on many websites including this one.
  2. you can also try www.l-tunedparts.com I have ordered from them several times and been very satisfied with price and delivery. steviej
  3. the interval for the 2002 ES is 90k. However, I changed mine at 60k just I was starting to get the minimalist of surging. The changed eliminated the surging. The six plugs that came out, were textbook perfect for what a normal sparkplug should look like. dry and chocolate brown/tan. The gap was still withing specifications. They probably could have gone till 90k but I did it at 60. On a side note, doing them at 60k will slightly lesson the cost of my 90k service. steviej
  4. If it is the BRAKE that is constantly illuminated, then check the level of the brake fluid. (This light has nothing to do with the bulbs themselves. The light for that is the one of the tail end of the car with what looks like eyelashes.) Even though the fluid may be above the minimum mark, Toyota/Lexus brake fluid level sensors are very touchy ans can still set off the light. Try adding some new DOT3 fluid to bring it up to about 1/4 inch below the max fill line. If that doesn't do it, then have the brakes checked over by a professional. Midas will do a free estimate I believe. May help determine the squeal, too. Now, the squeal may also be that the previous owner used a semi- or full- metallic pad when the did the brakes last. This squeal is normal when the pads first start to make contact but then goes away when more pressure is applied. As SK said, The flashing ABS needs to be checked out. Chances are it is a faulty ABS sensor at one of the wheels. No one will know until the codes are retrieved. And again in accordance with SK, get the car checked for sludge. However, at 152K and a smooth running engine, you may have lucked out with a previous owner that was dubious in oil/filter replacement. See if you can't track down previous maint. records. Find out what has been done. Pull a spark plug from the front bank and see what they look like: new, old, black, brown, soiled or clean burning. Pull the stick on the tranny fluid and see what the color is. Cherry red or blackish brown. Welcome to LOC and please make every attempt to use the SEARCH feature of this site before asking questions as you questions most likely have already been asked and answered. steviej
  5. you got to be more specific. Is the Check Engine light on and you want to know why it is on? OR Is the buld that lights up the Check Engine Light (CEL) icon on the dash truely blown and you need to replace that bulb. For example, when you start the car or put the ignition in the ON position with the engine not running, the CEL is not illuminated? your initial question is very vague to say the least? steviej
  6. I fixed the spelling in the title, I think you meant to say suede and not swaed. I wasn't aware of any Lexus having suede seats. Leather yes, suede no. I have also moved this to the proper forum for the content of the question. steviej
  7. I like the yellow of PIAA Ion Crystals bulbs. Takes about 20 minutes to do them if you have good dexterity with your fingers. Here is a link to a thread I posted a while back for the 2002 ES. HERE 2000 is no different. steviej
  8. like i said before, I'm from Boston, where they don't teach defensive driving. steviej.

  14. it would help tremendously if you could mention the year of your ES as different years have different bulb types and placement. If it is an H7 buld and is a 2000-2005, then I have a write up already done that will help you. let us know. steviej

  20. I can say for my foot/ES that the upgrade is an improvement over what I had. It still performs smoothly and the shift hesitation is drastically reduced from what it was, but I will agree, it is not removed. my MPG remains unchanged. steviej
  21. becareful of what you oil the foam filters with. Use what is specified if anything is called for at all. When in doubt read the destructions.....I mean instructions. some combinations of oil and foam will result in the foam dissolving or degrading rapidly. steviej
  22. unless they have a flatbed, then the 400h is history.
  23. you can trip TE1 and E1 with a paper clip and count the number of times the CEL flashes to determine you codes. here are the instructions. www.troublecodes.net/lexus/ let us know what you find, then we can help you better. steviej
  24. gazhalim, See if your boss will let you mount them on your Ls for a week or so. Then you be the judge. Keep in mind, 20 tires leave little sidewall. The road feel and sound will be very different from stock. I agree, if you like the look then investigate, but let you ears, hands and butt be the judge. What looks great may ride like crap. Don't buy until you can test them out and feel how the car actually rides. steviej
