  1. here look over these....this should fix it or try getting aluminum hub centric rings http://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-second-...ines-fixed.html http://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-second-...adjustment.html steering rack bushing DIY http://www.clublexus.com/forums/suspension...ck-bushing.html
  2. well let us know if that fixes everything
  3. well atleast thats good. hopefully everything will be ok over there, welcome to the boards and have fun with the car
  4. sounds like a real yucko owned your car before you.... you can change the headlight bulbs under the hood, can see both high beams. high bea,s are blue as in HID or blue regular bulb? i replaced my fogs and high beams with HID kits to match my OEM HIDS. check fuses on fogs before you precede that way you dont change bulbs that might not be blown
  5. yeah i love having my windshield done. its a total different view since i did it. i have 35% all the way across how dark is yours? i just changed mine but i know of no problems like this from just changing the speakers. try making sure your weather stripping is still good and not torn
  6. well looks good either way. u still liking it?
  7. sell this car sir...u gettin a world of trouble for JUST acquiring this car
  8. i know.... i think its more than a possibility, i think its almost for sure if you followed the diy and ruled a connection out... (like if your getting continuity through the wire) i think they might have pierced/ripped/tore a wire when they did the first install
  9. not hating just not my taste/style its a tad overkill...instead of 3 JL's get ONE good set and go from there yeah nav is normal except that wood cover. the oem cover is actually cloth like the trunk lining or carpet...
  10. really.............? um ok....where do u keep your phone? just trying moving it to someplace and see where it doesnt cause feedback. i leave mine everywhere with no feedback....or maybe you need a new phone?
  11. try looking at the DIY and see if you can fix it YOURSELF sir....or start from there.....and btw the o2 sensor wont cause the vsc light on....
  12. well like i was asking...y not get a used one? wonder if you have a water leak on there? btw im familiar with pulling my interior....its all coming out AGAIN this weekend i hope to finish dynamating my whole car....door panels, floor, trunk and maybe roof
  13. it is possible....and sounds like it but lift car up and spin/shake it for free play
  14. um after looking at your door panels i would almost say he crimped a wire inside the dash probably when he was either installing or removing that wacky system....btw i know you didnt build the panel but why do u need a lexus symbol inside the car on the door panel? um that would be a negative sir....your o2 light and vsc light wont happen together unless you got problems with both. the comp isnt programmed to display that when an o2 is out
  15. welcome to the club. ew....on the door panels. yes completely custom and kinda wacky if you ask me. thats not a common anything for any car though..i bet its nice to have a gs300 with ml and nav sir, i have a 430 with nav and ml although i am jealous of the back interior ;) trunk is almost oem....your missing the piece of cloth that goes alongside the trunk light and the cover to the nav looks ALMOST oem except mine isnt wood. so u gonna install more speakers or convert back to stock?
  16. wendys dollar menu i hope....and anything huh? ok 3 of everything....hahaha! so why not just a ecu module from a junkyard instead of buying a new one...? you got a pic of this module and location? i have a theory in my head but i wanna verify something
  17. i hope u learned your lesson bout buying a Lexus from a chevy dealer! my next one will be a CPO (Certified Pre-Owned Lexus)
  18. try checking the wheel bearing, getting hub rings ( http://www.1010tires.com/hubrings.asp 66.06 mm 60.1 mm Aluminum $27.99) if you put the aftermarket ones back on, make sure the lugs you have on there are conical or go back to oem ones if they changed them.. good luck sir
  19. almost sounds like a loose wire....maybe a motor going out....? but more likely a loose wire. im not 100% so dont quote me on it....just my first thoughts off the head when you mentioned this
  20. u owe me some lunch sir ;) http://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-second-...uators-diy.html
  21. my "knowledge" just comes from me studying/reading/being active on the boards. sucks bout your VSC light man, they should do the right thing and fix it...but if not seriously get on the better business bureau's web page and file a complaint http://www.bbb.org/ u have a oem nav they had unplugged and then rehooked up? did u get this sorted out yet....
  22. actually read it and you'll understand...pics there just to give you a visual http://www.s10forum.com/forum/f202/big-thr...-how-to-321330/ good read, that makes perfect sense. appreciate it. no problem...i'll be doing this myself very soon
  23. im sorry off topic....u r in Tbilisi, Georgia? really wouldn't think u would see Lexus over there....war still going on over there with Russia? ok back on topic...u cant reset the window motor....u can unplug battery and let it sit for bout 15-20 mins then plug back up but it probably wont solve your problem. check the rails inside the door (yes you'll have to remove the door panel) make sure there are no obstructions on the track.
  24. well all i can say is at least now you found your problem and it wont be terribly expensive to fix....so thats a plus :D
  25. so u did this? "Start by inspecting the wire for any physical breaks. Easy ones to find are external rips/cuts/tears in the outer rubber insulation. Tough ones to find are the internal breaks. For the internally broken wire, you will have to squeeze/bend around with your fingers on the wire to find where it is severed inside. It will be a pretty obvious flat spot on the wire if it was smashed by something (upside down sway bar =P). The third possibility will be a wire that is broken at the connector plug or the solder joints on the actual sensor." u hook up a multimeter to the sensors to see if you getting right the ohms sir, well actually K Ohms but we this is why i hate stealerships....they dont know !Removed!. its possible but not likely a stereo place crimped a wire that activated this BUT IF a stereo shop had done this....wouldn't it have been on from BEFORE you bought the car till present not when you get home it turns on? u need to talk to the dealer you got from and im serious when i say this....if they wont fix it, hire a attorney and stick it to them or return them the car. dont forget u need to do something before your "Warranty" expires
