  2. i dunno u find out let me know. mine seems to have uneasy up shifts lately and she has new tranny fluid within the last few months so i dunno! sometimes.......not all the time! and you cant buy a extended warranty after the car is out of warranty or 6 years old.......i tried buying one for my 2001 when i purchased it and my local stealership told me i couldn't! brian
  3. is the compressor coming on when you hit the ac button? you should hear/feel it! could have a bad low or high pressure switch, maybe they didnt plug one of the ac plugs back in........or what im thinking is you might be low on freon! but start with the basics, find out if the compressor is kicking on and get back to me.........i manage a heating/air supply house in memphis and although we dont specialize in cars we do dabble in automotive a/c! brian
  4. um lex? he/she wanted to know a tire size to help reduce the noticeable gap........not to calculate how much his speedometer is off! although that is a helpful little link, ty brian
  5. ok mine does have it.........maybe i'll do this after i paint my calipers/rotor hats and put the lexus stickers on my rotor! brian

  11. im thinking that would be more trouble than its worth retrofitting one into your headlights.........i have seen some people do it to some cars but i dunno who you would even go to for that! i would just recommend a aftermarket kit! i did one on my es300 and i had no noticable glare! brian
  12. if u live up north and the car was from up north, it shoulda come FACTORY with underbody rust prevention coating already on it! mine i got from new york did! i almost wanna say its mandatory up there, but u in canada so i dunno what regulations you'll have! brian

  16. i bought a set (high and low beam) for my 1993 es300 which i am now using in my gs430's high beams and fog lights (the 430 came with low beam xenon or hid bulbs factory). i got it off ebay from a user off ebay! his feedback is immacualte almost and his kits are great u can pick the color etc etc email him and see what he says! he gave me a price break for buying multiple kits together like i said just ask him! the kits get 2nd or next day aired from japan which is why his shipping is kinda high but the whole kit and shipping is like 143.33 and its a great kit! like i said i got two http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/XENON-LIGHT...1QQcmdZViewItem just my $0.02 here brian
  17. if your key is like mine (mines off a 2001 so i dunno if they did the same thing back in 1995) anyways my key is laser cut! so only a dealer can cut mine! as far as if you buy a key off ebay.....again i have a master remote key so i dunno if mine is the same but someone still has to cut it and my local dealer wanted almost 200 JUST to cut it! i did a little research as im fixing to buy all 3 of my spare keys and i found sewell to have the cheapest price on keys...........cut and shipped to you! http://sewellpartsonline.com/ this is who i"m ordering my keys from! but regardless of how you do it YOU CANNOT JUST SWAP OUT YOUR TRANSPONDER! it doesn't work like that! Brian
  18. its where the clear "glass" or clear plastic meets the black plastic! easiest way to seperate them is to remove all the bulbs/wiring and put them in the oven AT A LOW TEMP ON A TRAY so the adheshive warms up and you shoudl be able to easily pry them apart with a flat object (i used a interior panel puller when i did my es300 headlights i got from my buddies at a audio shop) but you could use a flathead JUST be very careful you not trying to gouge it! if it doesnt seperate easily put it back into the oven and let the glue melt a little bit more! hope that helps! brian post some pics when you done so we can see how it turned out!
  19. im not trying to make u feel like that so dont......honest mistake (i hope) lol! i also used a socket wrench. im not sure this matters though as the original poster hasnt repsonded since he made this post! your welcome! brian B)
