  5. see i thought i had this problem too.......it rained and old lady and i got soaked the other night so i put a spare set of shorts on (our bbq team was cooking so i knew it was gonna rain) and i turned my seat heat on and NOTHING happened! so any ideas? djspawn u sure about the ambient temp thing?   6. i was told to try and get a road alignment i think it was called.....its where they put actual road pressure on the car while they do the alignment.......im not noticing mine anymore but maybe i just got used to it! i went through everything except the ball joints and my new tires have nitrogen in them and like i said i either am not noticing it anymore (im really busy lately) or its gone "i will welcome myself back to the forum as im,woo hooooooooo, finally unsuspended! hahaha!" brian
  7. if u read those other posts punash then you would know this isnt really a fix its more of a cover up...... u should work through all the other things 1st as you should NEVER have to modify your steering rack to fix a problem! work through the basics....... tires,brakes,ball joints,rims, hub centric rings, etc and find out where your at first! just my $0.02 here!   8. i actually had a nice long post with someone on here and we were going through all the individual steps to fix this........so far i haven't noticed it since new tires, etc i had done everything but the steering pretensioner (i have a great diy tool made but couldn't ever find anything to get the locking nut loose) and i never did my ball joints! if u scroll back or search for it u can find it "i will welcome myself back to the forum as im,woo hooooooooo, finally unsuspended! hahaha!" brian

  12. yeah but for about 600 more you can get a great ride on a DECENT set of coil overs...... i mean my suspension is the most important thing at least to me, so i don't mind spending a little extra here! ltuned is too expensive if your looking for something like that, hell they really to expensive or highly marked than most people! if you go on ebay just make sure your buying the real deal, i have been a ebay member since sept 11th 2000 and have no problem but i check up on the people selling stuff and see how they interact with older transactions. i'll pay a few extra sometimes but the comfort is worth it! google is a great way to go if u know what u looking for, just dont be afraid to shop around "i will welcome myself back to the forum as im,woo hooooooooo, finally unsuspended! hahaha!" brian

  16. a million different places........depends on brands.......gonna have to do some research and leg work on this one! ebay, a reputable shop, online,,,,,,,,,,, hks/ohlins/cusco/tein/jic magic/toms/apexi/c-one/sessions/tanabe/TRD alot of people make good coilovers for this car! just depends on your application (what u would be using them for and what u wanna do with them) and how much you wanna spend......i think the ohlins setup is like $10,000-12,000 with the remote resevoirs! NO REASON it should change, the viscosity of the oil the crank is running through shouldnt be substantial enough that it should matter!   19. thats what i said paul........640 grams..........each 12oz can is 320 grams of ac. didnt know u wanted the contents of the oil also so my bad sorta lol! did u pump down the system and recover the old freon or was it already "dry"? and the receiver drier is what i was referring to when i said you couldnt rebuild it! its a drier none of them rebuildable! whats your head pressure at? and your other side? mines being temperamental lately last time i checked my head pressure was at 375 i think it was and i dont like it running that high but last few days my ac will get down to 38 degrees (just like it used to before i had a problem) and its been hot as hell out here! (i have hotshot 414-b freon mixed in with my factory 134a;this is a direct drop in replacement for 134-a or r-22 and claims to run 12-15 degrees colder than either!i've used it in both my lexus's and have loved it) "i will welcome myself back to the forum as im,woo hooooooooo, finally unsuspended! hahaha!" brian
  20. i've always run 93 also........but that wouldnt stop the injectors from being dirty or getting clogged! just saying it is a possibility not that thats your answer for 100%! i would check the injector and make sure they not dirty or clogged before i checked the fuel filter as its in the tank and supposed to be lifetime (and whats lifetime to the dealer? maybe 10 years if it doesnt get totalled or something???) and also have u owned the car since new? maybe old owner used 87 or 89?   21. crap maybe i was but a buddy who has the eaxct same car as me.......same color, year,model (he got chrome rims and the wing but no ml and nav like me!) his wing isnt that high.....i coulda swore it was flat! i will have to check it out 2morrow as he works right by me!   22. check the voltage to the battery and make sure u getting continuity it sounds like u have a electrical drain or a bad connection from something! maybe the battery cables need to be removed,cleaned,scuffed up, and retightened but it seems to be a bad connection! maybe you have a loose wire someplace................   23. hey justa odd bit of info from me! about a month ago before i was leaving to go to nashvegas.......i took my car through a power car wash (i know, i know dont start) and i went to work......i got off at 11 pm and went home to load the bags in the car as i was leaving at 6 am. well on the way home, my rear windows, passenger window,sunroof (i think on this one) didnt work, key would beep to lock them but nothing would lock and unlock wouldnt work either , i didnt even think to check the trunk button! literally only thing i did differently was take it through that wash so i figured i had a leakand i musta blown a fuse! i checfked underhood and all my fuses were fine and then started checking the fuses by the drivers left foot (OMFG what smart person put this there? if you have ever had to check fuses get a fuse checker where u dont have to pull them, its cramped down there and uncomfortable and i ended up dropping 2 of the fuses as the inside has no puller oh and wtf the fuse box underhood or in there doesnt come with a 15amp micro fuse it comes witha 5 and a 10 and a blank unlabled place but no 15 was included) so i get home after realizing noone was open within 30 mins of me and have pulled a spare fuse from my tranny or ecu to check it i dropped it (no way to recover it from this area) so i had a check engine lgfht and the car wouldnt shift into gear so i had to take my old es to the car place at 12:40 am, anyways got home replaced the fuses and it was all fine! well i had a theory and i tried it again..........took the car to the car wash and it was fine! well this mornign asgain i took the car to thwe car wash and this time after i washed the car i cracked all windows and tilted sunroof as i didnt have to be at work for almost 6 hours! i got up to go to work and bam they wouldnt work again EXCEPT the drivers one........but on my way home from work they all worked fine........... DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY CLUE WHATS GOING ON WITH MINE? "i will welcome myself back to the forum as im,woo hooooooooo, finally unsuspended! hahaha!" brian
