welcome to the forum.didnt u just say u bought a blitz? did you buy a entire exhaust system or did you not get the cat back? hks,greddy,blitz,etc etc make a good exhaust for that car! try this company for some ideas.........and i say ideas as their prices are kinda high BUT that should get you a idea and then you can search for the ones you want someplace else cheaper http://www.l-tunedparts.com/model/struct.p...=8&cat_id=7 oh dont 4get the stuff for the 2001-2005 model will fit your car also.......so dont limit what your looking at brian

i would think you would be better off and cheaper off just buying a after market unit? try maybe the avic-d3 or something like that i used to have the d-2 and loved it, eclipse makes a good double din too! just my $.02 brian

blah........i've had a 92 1100 gsxr, a 95 katana 600, a 95 katana 600 (started with a 1200 bandit motor and ended with my old 92 1100 motor shoved into it!), a 98 tl1000, a 98 gsxr 750 srad (my fav bike),a 2004 gsxr 1000, a 2005 gsxr 750, a 2005 gsxr 1000, and i just aquired another 2005 gsxr 1000 (love that bike)............i just never thought u needed a turbo on a bike! brian

k forget about those rims.........so far im sooooooooo happy with my car today for once! ok seriously i had the same shake everyone had but mine mainly was at 80 + (which is where i spend most my time anyways) so i just had my tires replaced with my michelin energy mxv4's, new alignment (my rear was out a little and my front caster is out but they said that isnt adjustable), and nitrogen in the tires..... havent driven on the highway yet but from the ride from the shop back to my work (seriously maybe half a mile between our works) and OMFG that was the smoothest ride i have EVER riden in! i shall be going to nashville from memphis tomorrow morning so i will see how the interstate ride is! brian

i need your system...........i hate to break it to you buddy but there is NO WAY YOUR GETTING 35 MPG ON THE GS430 the factory only rated it for what 25 mpg on the highway. so you would have to be the only person i know getting more than what the factory rated it for and not just a little more............your claiming 11 more mpg than what even the manufactures can get! whats that i smell? sniff sniff? ITS BS ! also u the only guy i know that can get 562 miles on a v8 out of a 17 gallon tank! i get barely 21-23 mpg in about 300 miles on the interstate out of my 2001 gs430 not even doing both highway and city driving and i have new oil, FRESH new tires, and the k & n (i wont run fuel system cleaner its crap in my opinion) so we practically have the same setup! so hate to break it to u junior but u full of crap ! :chairshot: oh btw welcome to the forum.........not all of us like this! just me.........and alex lol. but im def gonna call bs when i see it! guess thats my $.02 :whistles: oh fyi u might wanna put the year of your gs in the box by what car you have, can/will b helpful to you in the future should u stick around B) Brian

pioneer makes a great shallow sub.........its called the ts-sw1241d BUT this is a 12" sub and your factory is a 10. i was gonna fit it and a small box in the trunk! it fits great and the sub has plenty of room for a small box i was gonna have made! yeah i was gonna install the sc-c1 Sirius universal tuner 49.99, kca-sc100 alpine Sirius radio interface 69.99, kce-422l alpine full speed ipod cable 20.00, avdhd audiovox 1/2 din dvd player 239.99, ts-sw1241d pioneer 12" shallow mount sub woofer 169.99, had decided between the alpine hub for the video interface and the peripheral unit. peripheral was like 400, peripheral steering wheel controls 76.50, compared to alpine's hub 500, and the alpine steering wheel controls 100 (alpine's had more features as i was trying to retain using everything i could on my touch screen) plus installing my diamond audio d6 component sets/crossovers 115, installing amp for components (its a older model eclipse forgot which one) and a amp for the sub (its a alpine with digital readout but i forgot which one),installing my sub/capacitor 35, building custom box with the right specs for my trunk/sub and painting it 120 (was gonna do fiberglass but no point no1 will see it! so yeah my grand total was like some where around 2300 even with me supplying the component, the amp for them, the capacitor. so, so far i have scrapped this idea! i wanted to pull the nav out and just get a regular nav but i cant since my heat/air/everything is controlled by that damn thing! really just wanting to have my diamond audio d6 components and the sub installed but i think even thats gonna be a pain in the !Removed!! not to mention the rear view camera i wanted to do! brian

im not doubting u or anything but r u sure? cause i had a 3rd brake light burnt out (well it would turn off and turn back on sometimes) but i ALSO had a nighttime running light (if thats what they are called) that was burnt out. i replaced them at the same time so i couldn't be sure but i would figure it would tell you about ANY burnt out light! brian

ok think i have decided im gonna go back to my michelin energy mxv4's. i was really happy with them! just wondering, i found a guy selling a set of 2008 rims from a 2008 es350 with the tires im wanting for less than i can get my tires PLUS they are 17's an my gs has 16's! will these fit my "whip"? oh also im riding a 225/55/16 right now.........whats difference (like what will i notice?) in a 205/60/16? can i fit these? brian

hahaha i dont wanna hear it........atleast u can replace your headunit! i have the ml package and all my ac/sound/nav EVERYTHING is controlled on my screen so when i inquired about upgrading my speakers/sub/amps/ipod radio/sirius and keeping my steering wheel buttons i had to use so much *BLEEP* it wasnt funny........the lpine hub was like 550 + like 135 for the alpine steering wheel controls and then some of the *BLEEP* still wopuldnt work on the nav screen right! so i have saidf *BLEEP* it right now.........i bought my diamond d6's for this car but have yet to put them in cause of this! brian

bump.........everything looks nice and neatly installed EXCEPT that camera looks bobo.........u shoulda had them put it IN the rear key hole! anyways........we all know you wont have any women/girls in your car so no worries there! lol. hope u get sub fixed but all in all the install looks nice! brian

i work at a heating/a/c supply house for the last 8 1/2 years in Memphis (mainly home/commercial but we do dabble in automotive) anyways u need a set of gauges to hook up (i use a quick connector too, its kinda like a quick coupler) and see if your low on freon! i just put a blend of freon into my 430 called hotshot(R-414b) (they claim it runs 15 degrees colder than 134a or r-22) this is a direct drop in for 134a or r-22 so you don't have to change ANYTHING and i can get the air down to 32 degrees in my car ! u might have a slight leak........i had to run another product we sell called stopleak into my es300 as i was leaking about 1lb a year and just got tired of adding freon every summer! my father now owns my old car and he has nooooooo problems with the air! you could have a leak on/at the orifice....... i dunno! couldn't tell you without hooking up my gauges! BUT you have a site glass on the drivers side where you SHOULD be able to see the freon cycling as the air runs...........any decent mechanic should be able to tell you if your low Brian :snoooorrrtttt:
