2013 Lexus Gs 350 F Sport Vs Mercedes-Benz E350 Vs Bmw 535I Race Track

Do you have a source on that? I'd like to see it. Be sure its the NEW A6...not the old A6. -
2013 Lexus Gs 350 F Sport Vs Mercedes-Benz E350 Vs Bmw 535I Race Track

The early reviews of the Turbo 4cyl say that its not as smooth as the 6 though. Personally, I think the GS350 really specs out as compared to the 535. The 528 is less car for still more money... -
Looks pretty impressive, what does everybody think? http://www.cadillac.com/xts-luxury-sedan.html#layer_content_1'>http://www.cadillac.com/xts-luxury-sedan.html#layer_content_1 http://www.cadillac.com/xts-luxury-sedan.html

2013 Lexus Gs 350 F Sport Vs Mercedes-Benz E350 Vs Bmw 535I Race Track

I have a feeling the 2013 GS350 fully loaded will be a lot more than $50K. What car manufacturers like to do is keep the MSRP around the same and add more options to the car. My guess is that the New GS with the F-sport package and a few option borrow from the LS will be close to $60K. It is still $10K cheaper than the 535i though. The funny thing is that BMW actually lower their price on the new 5 series last year due to competition from the A6. I guess competition among car manufacturers is a good thing for us, the consumers. Sure fully loaded, but you'll be able to get a well equipped GS350 for $50k. Base is $46k, add a $4k-$5k nav package and that will be the "typical" GS350. You'll be able to get it higher with the F Sport package, packages with adaptive seats and such, but the 5 is always going to be $10k-$15k more when similarly equipped is my point. -

One day when you're an adult, have been through some tragedy yourself, and have a family of your own to protect you'll be "uptight" too. Life is too short buddy to put yours and others' at risk for something so stupid and pointless. Just because others have done stupid !Removed! doesn't mean everybody gets a pass for doing stupid !Removed!. Its all fun and games until something happens and you kill yourself or someone else...and regardless of whether you think it will...it absolutely can and does happen every day. -
Funny thing is my 2003 ES was set by default not to switch back to the map, so at some point between 2003 and 2010 they changed direction...
-
If the remote was originally for the ES...it should work. If it was for any other model though (and they all look the same) it won't work. Personally I wouldn't spend $1 on an ebay used remote. Buy a new one from Sewell online or see if the dealer will price match. Too much opportunity to loose money buying the wrong remotes from ebay...and the new OEM remotes from Sewell aren't THAT expensive...

I think the car is an incredible value personally...

2013 Lexus Gs 350 F Sport Vs Mercedes-Benz E350 Vs Bmw 535I Race Track
SW03ES replied to The G Man's topic in General Chat
Thats true of almost all cars though... Give them time. I don't disagree. What you're not taking into account is cost. The GS is considerably cheaper than the 5 series, so yeah...if the performance is similar...people will buy it instead. Same is true of the Genesis and Equus vs the LS (the Genesis is really nothing like the LS BTW, much sportier). They comparison doesnt really work though because you have the brand issue with Hyundai, less so with BMW vs Lexus. What you fail to see is the 5 series is *really* expensive. You load a 535 up and it can get towards $70k...even just with options that are standard Lexus fare its $60k+, vs a GS350 that would be $50k. People buy the GS, you see them all over the place...same with the Infiniti M37, which I think is a very under appreciated car. You're totally out in left field on this one. New Audi interiors are BEAUTIFUL. Very luxurious with excellent materials. Have you ever seen an A8? Or the new A6? Even the previous A8 and A6...Beautiful cars. -
Happy New Year! Thanks for hitting on a topic that I don't think we focus enough on...the Canadian menace LOL

Yeah I like to leave it on the map...

Then why did you do it, and why did you come in here bragging about it? If you want to see how peppy your car is...take it to a track. He's lucky I didn't whip him with a rubber hose! LOL -
Yeah really...you're lucky we don't run you outta here on a rail!

Looks good buddy! Funny about your son. I still remember when I was a kid my Dad had an old !Removed! brown exterior and !Removed! brown interior Oldsmobile Cutlass. For whatever reason...I loved that car. It was the first car I ever loved, and obviously I loved cars from then on out. I still remember crying, and crying, and crying when they traded it in. He would take me back over to the dealership to visit it on the used car lot until they sold it. Poor guy LOL Theres a picture of me sitting in the drivers seat hugging the steering wheel somewhere...

Harsh...but true. One thing I cannot stand is people coming on forums and bragging about doing incredibly dangerous and illegal things on public roads...and looking for atta boys. They have racetracks for a reason. -
Yeah the December to Remember gives them those $1,000 coupons... Another unusual thing about those coupons is they only give each dealer so many...so its possible for the promotion to still be going on and for a specific dealer to be out of coupons.

Nice, yeah we need pics! We looked long and hard at the XC90 too when we were shopping for the Jeep. They're very nice, little quirky, but very safe.

I have to agree with what everybody else has said here. What you did cd was foolish, irresponsible...and quite frankly I think people who get caught participating in the kind of innane !Removed! measuring contests such as this should loose their licenses. Public roads are just that...public roads. When you use them for your own racing purposes. that infringes on my rights to use those public roads safely. Quite frankly...had you and that moron wrecked and died because of your actions...I'd be okay with that because it was your own stupidity that would have caused it...the idea that you could have hurt someone else, someone I or someone else cares about just because you had to show this other @sshole that your !Removed! is an inch longer than his that is irreprehensible. You just posted in nc211's thread about his sister in law who'se life has likely been ruined because of some @sshole driver, you know what can happen out there and yet you still come here and post this and you think we're going to be impressed?!?! Whatever he may or may not have been doing illegally is besides the point. Speeding within the flow of traffic is one thing, but your actions took an already dangerous situation and turned it into an flat out drag race down the goddamned highway. Stupid. Not to mention the fact that the guy could have been so angry he would have followed you home and murdered you. That happens too. IMHO, you are no better than a drunk driver behaving that way, and should not be allowed to operate a motor vehicle on the highway with responsible adults. -
I've seen it, but not played with it yet. Its already in the new Prius, Prius v, and the new Camry. Its a neat unit, includes Pandora and i Heart Radio streaming, HD radio, as well as XM. Nav has a similar look but improved functionality. User interface is all new. I'll get to play with it when I go to the DC Auto Show later in Jan.

The information you are looking at is incorrect. The dealer does not get $7,000 in holdback, thats preposterous. Edmunds is the trusted source when it comes to manufacturer pricing, and as per them Lexus' holdback is 2% of the base MSRP: http://www.edmunds.com/car-buying/dealer-holdback/ Another source listing the same thing, 2% of base MSRP: http://www.thetruthaboutcars.com/2011/06/the-truth-about-dealer-holdback/ Another source...same thing, 2% of base MSRP: http://www.safecarguide.com/gui/neg/holdback.htm In order for there to be a $7,000 holdback that basically means there would be over $11,000 in profit in the car at MSRP, and thats just not the case. I consulted with car dealer sales departments for a few years, and I can tell you for a fact there aren't a whole lot of cars on the market where the profit margins are that large, and certainly not on a car of this price. I bet thats an error...and they've typed in 20% instead of 2%. The site says holdback is $7,345, thats 20% of the base MSRP of $36,725. My guess is it should be 2%...as per all the other sources...which would be $734.50. I think if you could get the car for invoice in CA, thats the $33,290 figure thats about the best deal you'll be able to get. I would try that www.zag.com site, we just bought our Jeep using that and got significantly less than invoice, but thats because of factory to dealer incentives that companies like Lexus, BMW, Mercedes, etc generally don't offer. We had $3,500 in rebates on the Jeep that allowed the dealer to sell it to us for $3,500 below their cost and still make a little money, you're not in that situation on the Lexus. I paid $1,000 below invoice for my ES350, but they had a $1,000 owner loyalty rebate at that time that they don't have now as far as I know. If not Zagg, I would email some dealers and see what they offer it to you for and start from there. But, trust me, I've bought 4 Lexus cars in my life and have negotiated for weeks for all of them and I *know* I paid bottom dollar for every one of them, regardless of what that site says there is no "$7,000 holdback". Dealer cost is invoice, less 2% of base MSRP holdback ($734.50) Anything below that the dealer will loose money on the sale, and thats not happening on something like a Lexus that they will sell. I emailed the webmaster of that site you linked to inquire about this error. I'll let you know what he says...but in case he doesn't respond check to see if he updates it from 20% to 2%.

Short of wiring them all in yourself you can't. Personally...I never have an issue hitting the homelink button in the dark...never have...

The 2010-2012 has a different hard drive based nav system which is better than the old one. Personally? I think the nav system is great. VR sucks...but I never use that anyways. We have a built in Garmin system in the Jeep and we both dislike it. The new Camry has a new infotainment system yes, as all new Toyotas/Lexus will. No, the 2012 is basically unchanged from the 2011, theres a special package, but thats it. 2013 will be a new model.

Hi Michelle! Welcome to the LOC. The information you are looking for is easily found on the Internet. Check out www.edmunds.com, www.truecar.com. www.zag.com Lexus generally doesn't do factory to dealer incentives, like domestic carmakers do. The dealer's cost, less the holdback, is the dealer's cost. Lexus' holdback is 2% of the base MSRP, so the base MSRP is $36,275...so holdback is $725.50. So if you buy whatever optioned model you choose and pay invoice, they're only making $725.50. From time to time they will do a special deal on the ES, IS & RX where maybe they'll have $1,000 in special incentive, or a loyalty rebate for current Lexus owners or lessees, but not real often. In general invoice is an EXCELLENT price for one of these cars, and you may only be able to get down as low as $1,000 over invoice. Lexus, like all manufacturers, charges a destination fee that is already included in the base price.
