  1. If by too long you mean until 150k-200k miles... The air struts won't even be a question until then...
  2. I can't comment on the other product, but I have the Vaistech unit and am very happy with it.
  3. I don't think it works on the 07 either...

    New Car!

Lookin good! The Civic is a good little car, I have a buddy that has one.
  5. Keep in mind GS wheels are wider and may not fit properly. I vote for the ES wheels, you know they'll fit.
  6. I use Mobil 1 Synthetic 5W30 (this is the weight Lexus reccomends) on 5k drains.
  7. Actually...I would buy the Murano over the RX350 in this comparison. I drove one of the new ones, its EXTREMELY nice and very upmarket. Better technology than the RX, rides just as good, excellent materials and build quality. Its an excelent vehicle. If the brand isn't important to you...check out the Murano.
  8. Its a gag.
  9. Toyota dealer service is awful...
  10. Personally, I would not buy an 07. Lexus has had enough teething issues with it to make it worth it to spring for the 08.
  11. Hahaha. I have to admit...I had to think about it for a second before I realized it was a gag.
  12. Since its April 2... Most of you obviously get it, but for those that done its an April fools joke guys ;)
  13. Toyota's nav is the same as Lexus' nav. The Venza is such a blatant ripoff of the Ford Edge its not even funny...
  14. Microsoft's Sync works really well btw As for the dealer, they ALWAYS mess with all the settings and I never have understood why. Its almost like when you have a maid service clean your house and they move stuff around to make it look like they've done stuff where they havent lol
  15. Those really look nice! Nice thick upgraded floormats really go a long way towards making the car feel more luxurious.
  16. No problem, glad I could help!
  17. I use a california duster, but only after breif driving after a wash, or to remove surface dust from sitting after a wash. Anything more serious (pollen, etc) I'd pass.
  18. Hahah....hahahahaha HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
  19. Actually the reason HUD setups aren't on a lot of cars is they exctually reduce the attention drivers give to the road in testing. People tend to focus their eyesight on the HUD and not on the roadway out in front of the car which dramatically increases reaction time. As for the wood, replacing the wood won't be an option. I don't know why they haven't offered different woodgrains with different interior colors, they did on the previous ES.
  20. I would look at an Acura MDX or an Infiniti FX35 (great vehicle, but getting a little outdated. Although so is the RX). I actually would seriously look at the new Nissan Murano. I drove one the other day and was extremely impressed with it.
  21. I've always thought the RX330s I've had as loaners had uncomfortable seats...
  22. Unfortunately many tire chains do have weird policies like that to reduce liability. I've had chains refuse to mount specific tires on cars for me before. I do agree that replacing all 4 so the wear is even across all the tires is the ideal scenario, but I've always been told by everyone in the auto repair industry I trust (of which there are few) that replacing two is fine and the new ones should go on the rear regardless of what wheels are the drive wheels. However I have always been told never to replace only one tire on an axle unless the set is brand new. So...I'd replace at least two, even if the road hazard warranty will only cover one. Especially at 5/32nds. At 5/32nds I'd replace the whole set like Costco is trying to strong arm you into doing. You may have no choice but to get the tires from somewhere other than Costco though, I've never gotten them to go outside their corporate policy.
  23. I'll share a little secret with you. If you wash your car weekly, even in an automatic carwash, the paint will look new or be in a condition where a detailer can bring it up to like new status fairly easily for MANY years to come. Modern car paint is that durable. Zaino is a great product. Yes there have been scientific tests (GuruReport) that prove its one of the longest lasting products and with my experience I believe that. The question is does that hold any benefit to YOU? I personally don't like the way it looks, and I wax my car fairly often so the longevity isn't an issue. There is a GREAT disparity in the quality of products however.
  24. Yeah lemme find it. Lexus Japan makes an OEM hangar part for the GS that works well and looks great on all the cars. I can't seem to find it online. I'll take a picture of mine and post it.
