  1. Agreed nc! I wanted an Outback Turbo before I bought my Forester XT Turbo......I was impatient at the time & the OB was out of my price range. Subaru does not get the credit for their vehicles, but I can't stress enough how good these things are in the bad weather....especially the winter. The wife like the Tribeca too.....the dash on that thing is a piece of art it looks so nice! So that's also on our short list (the 2008 model was redesigned with a larger 3.6 H6 engine.....to now run on regular fuel too). Do I regret my decision? Nah.......I'm back behind the wheel of a Lexus....so it's all good. :D I still have a Subi to drive when the weather get's nasty.
  2. Get one that is slightly used like you mentioned when the timing is good for you & save some of the depreciation......I think in the long run you just might be happier with that decision. ;)
  3. Steve, I think I would still take an LS over the Infiniti M personally. But I like the idea of the M35 AWD too.....is that a consideration for you? I hate to say it (not ment at all to be an insult at all to the Infiniti......just an observation is all) but from the side view.....the M reminds me of a Subaru Legacy sedan....just a little larger overall. When comparing the M to an LS.....I think the LS is much more classy personally. ;)
  4. I'm actually quite impressed with the looks of the Venza.....and more importantly.....the Wife likes it too! Not sure if a vehicle like that really needs 19 or 20" wheels/tires though......I think that's overkill & expensive down the road :whistles: But we'll take the V6 & AWD for us please.....here's to hoping it will be reasonably priced too......come 2010, I think we will replace her 2003 Forester with something a little bigger & it appears that this fits the bill nicely. I will check them out a little closer when they are available (I'm hoping they will have at least one at the Canadian International Auto Show in a little over a week). B)
  5. I'm late to the party on this one.....but what a beautiful car RF.....that's just sharp! B)
  6. I suggest Amsoil for the diff & PS (ATF) fluids. :)
  7. Or you can get a turkey baster with a short piece of hose on the end and suck it out that way, It is what I do and works great, It gets every last drop out of the resevoir. Just thought I would add this as an option. Absolutely that would work too. :)
  8. I think a high quality tint (I use either Solar Gard or Llumar), professionally installed definately enhances any vehicles appearance. I get all my vehicles tinted & love the way it looks.
  9. For that price, get them to throw in the I-Pod interface & floor mats into the deal. Also if your planning to get a bunch of Lexus accessories, tell them (and get it in writting) that you want them at cost.....installed. ;) Keep us posted.
  10. Powertrain is 6 years or 70k miles......get the in service date. Awefully low mileage to have a tranny with an overdrive problem.
  11. What tires do you have on the car?
  12. My sister in law just picked up a 2008 Santa Fe Limited.....$40,000 (Canadian!) I took it for a drive & have to admit I was quite impressed overall......but it's no Lexus or Toyota. Not sure I would have dropped that kind of cash on a brand new Hyundai personally.....but I was able to swing her away from another Ford Escape. :D So I did my job lol. Gotta like their warranty too.....hard to beat. The Genesis is a nice looking ride.....but as mentioned earlier.......it will not have the cashe of the premium brands like Mercedes, BMW & Lexus. It does not look good if their flagship vehicle is sitting next to the Accent or Elantra in the showroom.....I'll put it that way. ;)
  13. Also might want to check out e-bay.....you can get a hard copy for a reasonable price there.
  14. Do the stickers that go over the warning labels say anything?
  15. Condition
  16. Sorry to hear about your mishap. If they say it's a Lexus certified facility & they will cover it with a lifetime warranty.......I say get it done with them. PPG is a very high quality paint & they should be able to match it up no problem. The onus is on them & they will have to look after things should you have a problem down the road. B)
  17. Agreed. Is the car still under the powertrain warranty?
  18. I don't mind them personally, I can get a sweet deal on a set too......the UL ones I agree are nice......but very expensive. :)
  19. Perhaps one of these Meguiars wheel cleaning products... http://www.meguiars.com/estore/product_lis...sectionID=13101 I'm sure someone else will chime in on this. :)
  20. Welcome aboard Garett! B)
