  1. Does anyone have any experience with either the Toyo Garit KX &/or the Toyo Observe G-02 Plus winter tire(s)? I am seriously considering getting a couple sets soon (1 set of each) for my Wife's Subaru Forester & my 2005 ES 330 for next winter. Also, I am looking to get these on sale & AFAIK, Tirerack does not carry these tires......What other online tires sites do you recommend that carry the Toyo's that I should check out for prices & such? Any help is greatly appreciated.
  2. These are the tire sizes available for the 2008 GS 350... Tire 225/50VR17 [29] 225/50VR17 all-season run-flat tires [29] [10] Optional 245/40ZR18 summer tires [9] Optional I don't see anything for 245 45 18's. What model Toyo tires do you have? And are they summer only or perhaps run flats?
  3. Willing ;)
  4. Awesome video! Thanks for sharing. B)
  5. Welcome to LOC. :)
  6. Have a look here... http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index.php?showforum=27
  7. Welcome to LOC. :)
  8. I usually go by what the owners manual maintenance schedule states......both my previous 2001 ES & my current 2005 ES say every 6 months or 5,000 miles (although I have always used synthetic oil, not dino). :)
  9. Same here Steve, none whatsoever....that's why I was (still am) a little baffled. And we've been here a while lol. :whistles:
  10. I agree......wait until all the offers are in & see where you are (now come the fun part to get a bidding war started lol). At least this is a starting point. B)
  11. Welcome Chris! B)
  12. If possible get the service history on the car......watch out for the engine gelling issue. ;)
  13. What size tires are you planning to put on the car (14") & do you know the offset of 15 & 14" wheels?
  14. The LeSabre 330???
  15. Your ES has a factory engine immobilizer & alarm system for starters. Many dealers do VIN etching into the glass & other components as well. Here is a link to the equipment for the 2004 ES... http://www.lexus.com/cpo/model_library/ES/2004.html Hope this helps. :)
  16. I'm in agreement with Steve with this ^
  17. If you plan to keep the car for longer than the standard warranty.....the 'Lexus' extended warranty is worth considering. Also (many don't realize) but you can negotiate the price of the extended warranty.....so just a heads up (you should be able to get them to shave off several hundred dollars off if not more). Make sure the warranty takes effect when the original warranty expires, not during the original warranty. Accessories like the all weather mats & the body side mouldings that are offered (plus any others you are thinking about), tell them you want them for cost up front. Make sure all of this is put in writting on the bill of sale. Don't be afraid to fax or phone several Lexus dealers near you & ask them for their best price....let them compete for your business, because it does not matter if you take you new ES for warranty / service work at the dealer you purchased the car from originally. ;) Good luck & keep us posted. :)
  18. Do you know the offset of the wheels? I just purchased a set of OE ES 350 17" wheels (getting them next month) with an offset of 45 & rim is 17 x7 J. I wouldn't go any larger than 215 55 17 personally......I don't think the 235 will fit.....you will have rubbing issues.
  19. If your looking for test drives & reviews....try www.nctd.com
  20. Congrats on your 'new' ES! B)
