  1. They fit in almost every tight space & corner to boot! B)
  2. First off, Welcome to the club Fezel B) Do you have a reliable mechanic you can yake your ES to? If not, ask friends & family to recommend one. The dealers are quite expensive & yous is very close to a 1990 & 1991 Toyota Camry V6 LE so to repair them is not too difficult. I would make a list of all your concerns & take the car to your mechanic to look over & repair what is needed. Good Luck! B) As far as customizing is concerned, you have ton's of stuff you can do to your ES from appearance to performance. I would suggest tint, front strut tower brace, a complete tune up is important & the like to start off with. Many more things can be done down the road depending on your tastes & budget. ;)
  3. And if it's the whole assembly?
  4. Is this the original rad in the car? When was the last coolant change you had? Also might want to consider the water pump. B)
  5. There would be obvious signs if it was a taxi or say an 'air port' limo. It all depends on a specific car as opposed to generalizing a situation. B) That's why I mentioned it was a 'catch 22'. ;)
  6. Sorry, no clue dude lol. B)
  7. How much for the OEM parts? B)
  8. You are correct, the tires won't last very long at all (that's the good news). It's more unfortunate that an automaker is more concerned about fuel economy (or EPA ratings) over good traction & safety. But all auto makers are guilty of this, not just Lexus / Toyota.
  9. Keep us posted on your winter experence when the time comes. B)
  10. I agree with most of what SRK has said, except I'd probably choose the highway car. Mileage on a vehicle is not as important (regardless of city or highway driving) as well as the vehicle is maintained. Having said that if the 100k car is almost all highway, I think the engine & tranny will have less wear & tear overall even though it has double the mileage. B) Constand stop & go driving is not good for a vehicle.....and lot's of short trips (vehicle not getting up to operating temp) do more harm than good as well. It all depends on one's view mind you & how well a specific car was driven & maintained so the question is a bit of a catch 22. ;)
  11. XGT's I think you can still get......at least according to the tirerack site anyways. B) But they are getting 'long in the tooth'.
  12. If I see a police officer around I roll down my front drivers window & have never had a problem personally, but I agree just be careful. ;)
  13. Excellent! B)
  14. Agreed. ;) If I had to choose between those two specifically I'd go with the MXV4's.
  15. SK, it's a 96 LS & I was thinking the same thing. B)
  16. No problem. Best of luck & the Triple Treads actually do come in H speed rating in your 15" size.....Sears may not have had them in stock, but they could have ordered them. ;)
  17. I love my factory HID's........& the automatic level control is neat too. B)
  18. You only have the donut spare? hmmmmm I have a full size on a factory rim with mine. You might be able to get one at an auto wrecker or salavge yard. The question is, will it fit in the well of the trunk? Not 100% sure. Anyone?
  19. Sure do.......here is a link to a couple shots of mine: http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...showtopic=20981
  20. OMG!! lmao!!! that's good turbo!! :D B)
  21. Post pics once you do the mod's you feel you want done jeremy as I'm sure it will look real sharp once your finished. B) If you want to 'brace' up the handling a bit, an inexpensive mod would be a front strut tower brace. I think there are several available depending on your budget & they all pretty much perform the same way give or take.
  22. Good choice & looking good! B)
  23. If you haven't already purchased your tires cam, you might want to consider these: http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/findTireB...nce&rd=15&ar=65 If you have already, best of luck. B)
  24. Would that be something that would be covered after the warranty expires through a TSB or 'secret warranty' or only while the car is under factory warranty?
