  1. Is there a similar one step 'sealant' product that you recommend Steve or anyone? I don't have nearly the time I would like to do a multiple step wax / polish like I use to.
  2. I'm looking forward to seeing pics too. The new Buick looks very sharp (did I just say that?)......but I don't think they are offering the larger 3.6L DI V6 with the newly available AWD option.
  3. lol Steve But at least we are in agreement that an H speed rated tire is more than adequate for our ES's......right Steve? :whistles:
  4. You thought the Toyo TPTs were quiet too though ;) They were quiet.....and I was not the only one to state that. ;) Also used on two different generations of ES's.
  5. I used Solar Gard 20% (medium shade) HP charcoal series tint on all the windows on my ES (except the windshield of course)....scratch resistant & metalized with a lifetime warranty...other good brands are 3M & Llumar. Get it installed professionally. It's not too dark day or night (remember it will fade with the sun over time now matter what you do) & I wanted one shade for all windows not different ones for the fronts. I don't do anything to draw attention to myself so cops don't bother me.....and an ES isn't what the cops are really looking for unless you do something really bonehead. Som pics in the gallery here... http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...showtopic=51532 And Solar Gard info here... http://solargard.com/Auto/Products
  6. I honestly don't know what they want for it or even if they are even selling it.......but I would bet since it's a collectors vehicle & brand new at that......over $60,000+ if not over $70,000. There is one on e-bay with 13k miles......and the current bid is $40,000 with 'reserve not met' & a buy it now price of $65,000. Here... http://cgi.ebay.ca/Buick-Grand-National_W0...%3A1%7C294%3A50
  7. Check this out folks... http://blogs.edmunds.com/straightline/2009...und-a-home.html I wonder if it qualifies for the 'cash for clunkers' program?
  8. I usually let my oil drain half of the afternoon anyways lol.....so that will work just fine. Thanks.
  9. I've been debating on getting those Fumoto Valves for my cars for a while now. How many of us here have or are using them & how much are they?
  10. High & ultra high performance tires generally will wear faster (other factors such as regular maintenance, how they were driven on etc also play a pretty big role)...what kind of tires (brand & model) do you currently have? What model Cadillac are we talking about? Every kind of tire one chooses no matter if they are summer, all season, winter, long mileage etc is a compromise one way or the other...shorter tread life is one for 'low profile', high performance or ultra high performance category.
  11. I'm not sure how good of quality they will be at that price to be honest.....AFAIK to get OEM quality HID's, there is some electrical upgrades required.....not just a ballast.
  12. Use OEM....period which are iridiums. And as for the interval.....look at the owners manual. ;)
  13. lol Steve.....I saw some of your pics.....looks like it was a blast bud! B) Many Canadian members will know why I bumped this thread up :P
  14. Daniel, Welcome to LOC.....is the engine on your LS mechanically sound with no leaks?
  15. Looking forward to seeing them on the car! B)
  16. I would go the proper interval as per the owners manual....many have suggested that if you want to use synthetic to properly break in the engine first with dino oil at around the 10k mile mark before making the switch.
  17. Changes to the 2010 ES 350...& quoting... What's New: "A mid-cycle revamp nets this midsize, entry-lux 4-dr new head / taillamps, upgraded interior trim, leather front seats with memory function, and rear-seat side airbags. Other changes of note include a VSC cutoff switch, ECO indicator, Bluetooth, iPod/USB inputs, and Safety Connect, plus a revised nav with the new Enform telematics system." Cool Fact: "Primo ES 350 options include Mark Levinson audio, the Pre-Collision System, Intuitive Park Assist, and Dynamic Radar Cruise Control." Sum Up: "How to pay too much for a gussied-up Camry." 2 out of a possible 5 star rating & they should hit dealer lot's around mid to late September 2009. The pic of the car was a 2009 model just so you know. I will post any significantly different or additional items from Car & Driver once I get it. :)
  18. That does not suprise me in the least....bandits!
  19. Glad I could help. :) Of course you only have about a month or so I would guess until the model is on dealer lots & the new brochures are available.
