now my car will start(barely) and when it does it surges and half my dash lights do not work?? doe anybody have any suggestions?

i have a 95 sc400, & when i purchased the car 6 years ago, the previous owner made the wireless switch ( when sitting in car drivers side by left knee)a switch to de-activate the kill switch, so the car will start. i have never had a problem until recently, the indicator light has not been coming on at all stays solid when not activated the will blink when activated. ...could it be the switch?,

i have a 1995 sc 400 and my passenger door will not open from outside, (i can unlock & open from inside.) what is the problem? i am very familiar with these door problems, i have had the rod break on my drivers door. But this time is different. can someone advise me on what i need to do? thanx

i have an 1995 sc400, and, maybe every 4 days out of 7, it will start then not idle. it only happens when i first start the car for that day! and some times the check engine light comes on, our OBD reader tells me that its the "throttle positioning sensor". could that be my problem? if any one has any suggestions i would appreiciate them

i have an 1995 sc400, & have 18"rims on it, we bought brand new tires for it almost 2 years ago ( & many miles)................well now the tires are very bald & "spliting" my question is is it "normal" for low profile tires to wear this fast? i'm only asking becuz my husband does not give me a straight answer, & i have heard from someone that those kind of tires do wear faster than like, new tires for a cadillac.. thankyou

can anyone tell me what i need to fix my window??? i put the window down one day, it a loud unusual noise, now it wont go up. you can push up with hands but, then when driving down the road it slides down. what could it be?

I PUSHED MY AUTO BUTTON TO PUT MY WINDOW DOWN, IT MADE A LOUD NOISE & WONT GO BACK UP. WE CAN PUSH IT UP BY HAND, AND EVENTUALLY, IT WILL SLOWLY SLIDE BACK DOWN WHEN DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD. WHAT IS BROKEN A CLIP?

my lexus repair manual says to change battery?? but does not give location....maybe somewhere behind the clock

yes i do the main oxygen sensor circuit, 21 is for the left main bank o.s.c 28 is for the right bank main o.s.c

can anybody help me? i have an sc 400 1995, and ever since i bought the car the speedeometer goes crazy? i've been told its becuz i have 18"tires is this correct, and can it actually make my odometer count the miles faster? does my trans. have a worm gear inside that needs to be adj.?

i have the same problem, my drivers side door will not open from outside, the rod broke, went to lexus dismantlers, they want $150.00 for rod? any one have a cheaper solution?

my 95 sc 400 door, i cannot open from outside, i guess its a rod that broke having to do with the door lock. we went to leuxs dismantillers & were told $150.00 to replace!!! does anyone know if this could be cheaper, is this part universal????my husband has door panel off, & we are stuck on what to do?

I HAVE AN SC 400 1995, AND WOULD LIKE TO KNOW, SINCE I HAVE 18'' RIMS, MY REAR TIRES WEAR OUT ON THE INSIDE, DOES ANY ONE KNOW IF ITS THE TOE IN OR OUT, OR DO I NEED TO GET A PART?
