The show will most likly be held on the last Saturday in May.. Andy, when Vit says Tri-State he means up by us.. Which is New York, New Jersey and Connecticut...

Not really.. But don't limit yourself to what you see there, go to other sites too.. Or take a ride to a tire shop around you and see what they're saying... I don't buy my tires online I get mine from Town Fair Tire and they give me great deals.. Listen, don't settle for something when your able to get what you want..

That's okay... A few months ago I was at Town Fair Tire getting some new tires and some guy came up to me and asked me if my GS was the new Altima or something.. Man talk about being offended...

Steve, I didn't think you did but when I read it just sounded funny to me.. Don't worry about no offense taken.. And you are so right when you say I need a cosigner if I was gonna lease or finance.. My salesman at Lexus use to tell me to finance my cars but my credit isn't that established because of how just buy things straight out.. I've bought 6 Lexus from him and all were bought straight out.. Trust me though I'm fine with that because it's just one less bill I have to worry about at the end of the month and in the long run I save some money on finance charges...

Nabil, Where's over here?? Why don't you take a ride up for the meet with a couple of members from down South?? I'm pretty sure I can have my assistant find some good rates on hotel rooms for you guys...

Well, I'm sorry if the way I think is common.. But I own all my cars.. I cut one check and that's that.. The only payments I make is insurance and yearly tax on my vehicles. So I like I said before I was talking about me.. Also with regard to modding and leasing, there's only so much you can mod to a leased car.. You cannot go all out for example and Turbo it..

I don't know much about ES's but if you want a STB for it I can look into it...

I should have a date for the show in a couple of more days...

If you look around I'm sure you'll beable to find a pre-owned GS for a great price.. I know this kid who just pick'd a 2000 Gs4 for $18,000 with reasonably low miles..

I have to say from my stand point that leasing is not the way to go.. Now I'm talking about me and what I do, not just any ol' joe.. Now with leasing I find I'm to restricted as to where I can go and what I can do. Now when you lease a car it's pretty much the dealers car and not yours, therefore you have to abide by what they say and stay within their parameters.. When you buy, you can do whatever, whenever you want.. Like if I leased my GS I couldn't have done the things that are done to it.. But that's just me..

Try State Meet for NY,NJ, and CT. I'm down for whatever.. But in the Spring I'm gonna be hosting a car show.. It's gonna be an outside show so I can make a section out for LOC members and their rides.. Hopefully my GS will be finished by then you I don't have to roll in with my stock GX.. But anyways, let me know what you think about that idea.. Even if members who don't live around the NorthEast part of the country can take a vacation to join us. I'm sure I can hookup something with the Marriott... How about that?? Well Mike if you ask me, I think it's a great idea... :D :D :D :geek

I ask because I just purchased a Kawasaki KFX400 and I'm just in love with it.. I wanted to see if anyone here also enjoys riding quads.. I was gonna buy the Kawi V-Force 700 but I went with the 400 instead but I'm pleased with it.. Especially coming from a Banshee...

No offense, but why the Cyber kit?? You have a Lexus not a riced-out civic.. Why don't you go with a clean looking bodykit that keeps the car still looking classy and Luxurious?? There are many kits out there you can choose from and if you find something you like and can't get it, let me know...

Well, first off congrats on your purchase.. Yeah those Nankang tires are not so good, from what I read they suk.. I'd say keep the tires on for now and whenever you have time replace them, as long as there's tread on them don't worry too much.. Now as for your next question, what size you should get.. First off if you have the IS stock 17's then you need to go with 17" tires because 16" won't fit.. The size that you already have on the car is fine, there's no need to change that unless you want to go a tad wider to a 225/45/17.. For tires I use Toyo Proxies T1-S's but those are for ultra high performance and I don't think you need or want that anyway.. But I know some people swear by Bridgestones.. Go to Tire Rack and check out the write-ups and make your own conclusions...

Damn dawg, I wish I could help you on this one but I'm not very knowledgeable yet on turbo's.. The best thing I could think of is take it back to the shop who installed it and see what they say.. And if all else fails take the turbo off and put back to stock and take it to Lexus. Maybe they'll cover it.. I don't know bro, but goodluck with it.. Keep us post'd....
