  1. SK! There you go again with your food analogies!
  2. and if you have greasy finger marks, i don't think a mild woolite solution is going to work too well. Greasy finger marks?! From what - food? LOL - I don't let people eat in my car ;) Apparently the Woolite solution is an old-standby that's worked very well for people for quite some time. I plan on trying it this weekend.
  3. :o $470??! At any rate, they look real tight, bro. I'm jealous. ;)
  4. Amanda I think you should have used Cocoa Butter cream (comes in a tub, like Palmer's for example) and not the OIL. Personally the cocoa butter smell was a bit much for me, but on the few parts that I tested it out with - they did come out great :) However this weekend I'm going to try the Woolite solution :D
  5. Yep me too. I tell ya...these black cars... <_< I did this in the morning before my drive to work - looked pretty darn good afterwards! Except for the windows of course. My windows seem to be my nemesis!!
  6. Is it ok to hose off the car with just water in between washings?
  7. I am the person at DMV who makes sure your personalized plate doesn't offend anyone. ;) j/k
  8. There is such a thing :) premiumautocare.com :D
  9. ______> premiumautocare.com :) *Ahem* Tiffany ;)
  10. Well of course he's going to say that. If you have access to the VIN # you can check the car's history and if you can you definitely should. Let me know and I can help you with that. Key points to have checked (I'm no expert, but this is my opinion) Timing belt - very important radiator tranny fuel pump *check for rust* anywhere on the car Keep us posted :)
  11. Ahh - Santa Monica. Enjoy the traffic. I'm more towards the suburbs of L.A. (is there such a place LOL) so again, don't worry ;)
  12. Most of the time, that IS where I am My statement was somewhat embellished for the sake of entertainment. I happen to be a very considerate driver. Are you? I've truly never been the cause or victim of real road rage. Furthermore, I'm in Cali and you're in NY. You don't have anything to worry about.
  13. Looks great! P.S. Please get gas soon ;) :D
  14. Woolite?! Are you serious? That's wild. I bet it smells great :) How'd you discover this anyway??
  15. :) Yep, I'm definitely getting this. If you can't find it let me know!
  16. Well I did add an amp and a custom speaker box to the stock system in my 92 ES. Here in So Cal there's hardly a concept of "not enough bass". It was pretty boomin' But I'm happy with the stock system in my 98 ES and I'm not going upgrade or add to it. In fact my old amp and speaker box are in my dining room right now. Good for holding martini's. B) I know this post was specifically regarding the 99 + up GS -sorry mrsebastian ;)
  17. Umm, *what exactly* is this li'l guy doing?!!
  18. LOL - yep, that's me altho I'm far from being in my late 70's ;) If you think it's frustrating for you there in Philly imagine the road rage I probably cause here in So Cal!!! :whistles: Kind of along the same lines, WHY do people get so mad when you slow down to park or make a right hand turn? I mean, I have my blinker on and yet 9 times out of ten the driver behind me gets major 'tude and speeds around behind me, as if I've just insulted their mother or something!! Sheesh! Sometimes they even lay on their horn - people are sooo impatient!! B)
  19. Yes, I do believe this is true. Just like the government/CFDC wants us to believe there isn't a cure for the common cold. But that's an entirely different can of worms... Me too, and me either, respectively. :)
