Almost bought this today but re-considered and decided to ask around here first! Anyone used this? I have just a few minor scratches on my paint...trying to figure out the best way to get rid of 'em. Also bought the Meguiar's Scratch Remover a couple weeks back, but I haven't used it yet, as I'm hesitant. Maybe just a good, professional buffing job will do the trick??

A full tank of premium gas? Hand wash + wax job or maybe a day at the detailer's? These are a couple of things I do. And also, it may sound mean, but I really don't like anyone's kids in my car! Food/drinks?! -I don't think so!- And am I the only one guilty of removing tiny smudges on the outside of the car with the end of my shirt?!! LOL - Lexus = LOVE!

I've only had my 98 ES for a few weeks so I'm still accommodating myself to all of the controls + stuff and yesterday I came upon the realization that I DON'T have heated seats! The controls are listed in the manual, but there are none in the car in reference to the picture. I'm kind of bummed. I thought this was standard! At any rate, I rarely used the heated seat option in my 92 ES. I am, after all in Southern Cali...! Oh well.... :(

So do you guys think this option could be added to an ES that didn't come with this option? Probably for a pretty penny, huh?! Those who have it - I envy you!! <_<

I know the later Mercedes' models offer built in sun-shades on the rear window and backseat-side windows that function with the touch of a button. I like that idea. Has anyone here added that option to their ES or does anyone have any other rec's or ideas?

Along the lines of leather interior, can someone please post just what portions of the interior are leather, and which parts aren't? I want to make sure I'm cleaning/conditioning appropriately :)

Just wondering. I hardly see them around anymore. Have built-in auto security systems become so reliable and "threatening" that such addtions have become un-necessary?

Uh oh. I don't know if the coolant in my 98 ES is red or green. Which one is it supposed to be? If it 's filled with the wrong one, should I have it emptied and re-filled with the right one? This makes me nervous... !

The more I look at my car the more I think I want the exterior to be entirely black instead of the 2tone black/grey.... SO I need suggestions in the So Cal area and maybe some success/don't do it stories.... :) thanks guys
