  1. Good to hear DaGunit I am putting them on my ES300 come spring and putting the ziex on my daughters toyota this month. So i was a bit concerned about how they will look also but glad you like them. ← No worries.... they look pretty good! I just went out and had a little more fun with them. They really do handle well too. I need to stop "playing" with them so much but they are still new so hopefully that will fade. I find myself offering to go out for things I would normally put off until later just to be on the road again. PS. I said I would mention cost too so here goes but don't let it scare you. Keep in mind I have 9" wide wheels on the front and 9.5" wide in the back. 18's that is. But, total final cost with road hazard protection was $670 from discouttiredirect.com and it cost me about $100 to have em' installed. ← Those are some big meats !! Hey by the way I need some xmass gifts delivered do you have some time???? lol

  3. Ask the shop that painted it, I have heard 30 days and I have heard 90 days, SW03ES should be chiming in on this one, He's our resident detailaholic and Damn good one at that. Sounds like a real nice paint job, Why did you get it painted? ← Yes please do tell? You are driving my car and colors. I am thinking about painting mine or at least the hood and two doors, but would like to know what a paint job runs. As to your detailing question SWO3ES will be telling you but i beleive its 30 days . good idea to leave it out in the sun a bit also to help it cure.
  4. What year is you ES please and how many miles? :D
  5. I was lead to beleive that when putting on new brake pads you should turn your rotors is this not true? Giving your new smooth pads a smooth survaced rotor?
  6. I read heard on NPR this week that according to JD Power - American cars are about even with the !Removed! in first year reliability, but everything falls apart shortly after. It's good to see tht they are getting better in terms of reliability. Now if we could just get an American company to come up with an appealing design idea or two..... ← LOL, Yes it be nice to know that after the warranty expires and maybe after its actually paid for you could enjoy an american vehichle with only normal maintenance. Well one year at a time mayber is better than nothing..lol
  7. How did you get your blade out? Mine is a 96 es 300 with button on the side but blade seems to be molded in the plastic?
  8. I hear ya buddy winter is here. I bought some falkens off DTD but puting them on my chrome rims i bought off ebay this spring. That is great if sears matches the price, we even got a sears, lol. Good to know for the future.
  9. You could be charged tax then if there is a store in your state. But heck at 48.00 a tire I would buy them lunch....lol
  10. I agree with SWO3ES,The bridgestone turanzas LS-V,or save a few bucks like $30.00 or more a tire and go with falkens. just my opinion...
  11. I keep watching that last scene and still laughing. ← THAT IS FANTASTIC!!! You cant help but laugh out loud..
  12. Drivewire has same filter I beleive. Let us now who has best prices.
  13. ← Dave what are looking to spend? There are some great deals out there for wheels for winter probably for $600-$700wheels and tires complete.
  14. Punch up blizzak tires on your search engine and see where it takes you. Also go to tirerack and put in your tire size and punch winter tires and click all manufacturers and see who compares, cuz I know some do.. good luck
  15. NOT MUCH HAS CHANGED!!Why do american automobile manufacturers keep doing the same thing? Buy american ,buy american, Well I wish I could but I work hard for my money so why through it away?
  16. ← Good o'l CHICAGO!! My opinion tires are great price at tirerack but there wheels are up there. Try dicounttiredirect or performanceplustires, victoriatires,I know they have some great package deals but if your looking for winter tires you will probably have to buy seperate rims and tires. Good luck let us know what you found or if better deals are out there? I know some local dealers give good deals just not where I live unfortunatly.
  17. Good to know I just did'nt feel like getting the new remote to work then ruining it ya know? I will look at the remote that doesnt work and if it comes out ok I may give it a whirl. thanks for the help bluestu....
  18. Yes they should fit... Check your bolt patern all lexus bolt patern is 5x114.3 if your rims are stock 15 or 16 inch rims these 16's should be fine. Double check your vehichle info on tirerack.com just to be sure. You just punch up your info and it will tell you if they will fit. good luck
  19. lexus has a TSB out about leaking sun roofs. There is a repair kit installed by th dealer. ← i live in MA, and i wonder if its related to the snow we just had...caus eit snowed, rained, then snowed in a 5 hour period, so maybe some water got inbetween the seal then froze. do you have a link to this TSB? is it a free repair by the dealer? Thanx! ← I'm thinking your drain line frooze up and therefore the water dripped into the car. I bet you dont even find a problem since it rained and froze and rained again I'm thinking thats your problem. Take it to the car wash again and see if it even leaks.
  20. What is the bolt pattern? I ran into the same problem until someone on here told me that 5x114.3 and 5x5.4 are the same bolt pattern. When I asked tirerack they said its very close but not the same. I am pretty sure all lexus wheels have the same bolt pattern and if your wheels are 16 inch from the factory you should be good to go. Punch up tirerack.com and put in your vehicle info and it will tell you if that size tire is recomended for your car... good luck
  21. Well I reprogramed my new ebay key to open / lock my doors but now I have two keys one to open doors and one to turn on car . I guess things could be worse. lol I looked to pull out the unit inside my key head but figured if i ruined it I wouldnt have a remote for my doors anymore so I have decided to stick with two keys for now. My key just has the button on the side of the head and it really doesnt look like that round unit will come out to easy inside it. If anyone has actually concured this feet I would like to hear about it and thanks for all the help everyone.
  22. I know I have a new reprogramable key but want to put my good key on the new head that unlocks my doors as mine doesnt work.
  23. Try to go to the largest dealer that moves the most cars ,there you will find your best deal I would think.
