  1. cool! looking forward to it ;)
  2. the answer is yes and you need lots of money!!
  3. i have a similar problem where sometimes as i get in and when i turn the key the locks, lock and then unlock. doesnt really irritate me but its just kind of funky. also i can leave my car unlocked when the car is off because some how it locks itself and sets off the alarm. this can get a bit irritating <_< but i just have to lock it.
  4. nothing wrong with synthetic in fact it should be better. ;)
  5. no 1/4 track around? i want to see that too! ;)
  6. not without a lift. but i can do the swap for a 240
  7. just expanding your knowledge ;)
  8. yea same problem happened to my friend twice on two different motors but both of them were auto to maunal swaps, and the wrong pilot bearing was used.
  9. i dont think that you need to pound out the tunnel to fit it in and the drive shaft needs to be lengthened.. and the question is, is it worth it to you. meaning do you want it for the "just because" factor or are you really going to be putting more than 450 hp to the ground, in which case you need it to hold that much power reliably.
  10. carb cleaner. as for fuel consumption just like RC cars its how you drive. aggressive throttle inputs will result in bad gas mileage or kiloage for you
  11. yea me too. i would take out the front seats first and that would give you room to take the rears out if your changing them too.
  12. well bigger capacity brakes need bigger capacity or a master cylinder that can push more fluid. and you dont need a bracket because the calipers have the offset casted in to the caliper meaning the mounting bracket is one with the caliper.
  13. actually there is such a thing but its just not called and rsx but an integra type R (it comes with brembos and recaros )
  14. no thats for the uzz31, and 32 which have air suspension. ours is a 30. we have convensional coil spring suspension so we dont have any hight sensing computers to fool.
  15. dont have a garage but have alot of tools. and no i dont have AIM but i have skype. as for the swap its a can do situation.
  16. the pilot bearing is located in the fly wheel. it supprots the trans input shaft. you should ask the shop that did your clutch change if they also changed the pilot bearing.
  17. i always just shoved a buch of shop towels between the belt and cam gear. always worked.
  18. well with a 15g limit you couldnt get a jzs161 but you can get a 147( the older GS) and well the swap depends on how much you can get the trans for. and its quite a bit of custom work. meaning interior parts around the shifter. in japan a 5speed conversion runs about 4grand so i would suspect add a grand or 2 to that. if you know endless garage they are doing a gte in the 147. but auto i think.
  19. could also be your pilot bearing if that hasnt been changed with the throw out
  20. change them all to hid heres something that i came up with recently. hid reverse lights, and possibly brake lights but the reverse lights could help becasue its hard to see at night ;)
  21. well when one of the tires under power looses traction the tire spins the opposite way with a normal diff. with an lsd there is some locking mechanism wheather it be mechanical, fluid or whatever which keeps this tire that has lost traction spinning in the same direction. simply said thats what it does.
  22. well i gave it a shot and they do come with an lsd
  23. hmmm.... so i guess the 1uz was a normal thread and after gen1 LS the threads went left hand? i remember mine being a right hand thread...
  24. my friends was green and SE. and i swapped an sr in to it for him. i live in kaimuki at the top of maunalani touge U? IS is good why not an E46? besides cost... or a real vip car would be a GS with a 6 speed swap. thats the thing in japan.
