raleigh, nc..been here for the 19 (soon to be 20) years of my life.... just moved for the first time outta the rents house...living kinda on my own...just me, Eze...and the expensive gas ;)....... and by the way, AusJapanLexus, i figure u can bring the es here..dunno how much that would cost you though..and you will probably need to the emissions regulations checked out and such... i mean, postoworkers get cars with steering on the right side...and some people have cars imported that are that way ;) i say try and bring it..and um...give me the jeep :D ill take good good....good care of it ;)

ok so um....i buy a pen from where.... should i get the painting paint, or the marker (?) kinda paint..and the langka stuff i dont really understand..went to the weblink..whatever.......*Sigh*

actually, i find that the lexus is higher than i had thought...mine clears the local curbs, only by a bit though..... dunno how mine got that dint in it.....

whats pen too..i know brush...but pen...wtf? i guess ill um...not spray..watching my dad use spray paint on the 99 camry..well..it turned me away from anything like that..ghetto fixing cars SUCKS... get paint from the dealer or somewhere else.....i dont have a clue...

wait wait, explain the spray thing....where do i get the can o spray paint to match the car...i thought the dealer gave a jar of paint and u um..painted ;) and yeh, all touch ups look like crap..even professional ones (at least on the eclipse they just chipped right off)..... as for tires, the TIRES say max 44psi...i was told to do what the car says, not the tire... i was told at 32 psi it would make the ride rougher....ill probably pump em up to 30 or so today... and as for the car being fixed, NO. it's still a big POS.hasnt been fixed or anything...i just stole the car from my parents...i mean....they were driving it anyways, i wanted it...im a better driver in my car than my mom is in anything.. so yeh, there are more *sniffles* on the way..trust me...ill let u know when it's fixed...stupid stupid parts..stupid stupid thing...*Grunt*

i noticed a little unhappiness in my car the other day. his lip isnt totally frowning, but its got this weird, ill call it the elvis twist to it......and we can just bend it? a little pull and push and thats it? why isnt there more support for it!?

ok so for my 92 es (he came home and i'm the happiest person EVER) i was told to put some air into them (looked really low) so i went to the glove compartment.... it said for 4 people in the car use 26 psi for the front and back... and for a full load max or something use 32??? what do yall recommend for the original sized tires (p205?). my dad said 26 and my boss said 32... the front has about 27 or 28 right now, and they look mighty low, the back end has about 28 or 29 and looks perky.... seeing as how this is my first car and um..i dont know what im doing...... and i figure i'll need new tires in about well a couple of weeks (need them now..damn baldies...but you know...parents dont care that much) i figure for my bday in a couple weeks i can get some...and touch up paint.....damn rust spots from where no one touched up the rock knicks... when it comes to new tires, ill bug yall again ;) thanks ahead of time for any response...better than doing it "blind" and messing up the wheels and whatever else i could damage

i meant the IGNITION keyhole to you amf :P took someone else to say for me to remember ;) thanks though.... and i must say, even if it is a safety issue, it sure is nice to be able to have the car running and open the door to the house, easy to drop the kids (me and sister) at the house when we forget our keys....*Sniffle* i miss that car.

some counties don't have emissions tests...so mayb you should look those up and get your car inspected there :D

my dad could pull the key out of the car while he was driving in the old 88 car..... something about the um (sorry dunno the word for where the key goes in....) being worn down and not fitting the key exactly right.... as long as that issue doesnt cause the car to not start in the morning (takes a few tries for the key to match up) then you're ok......well..not ok, but decent ;)

92 es300 grey/purple (no idea what the color would be called) named Eze. bought it in june (?) from a dealer in durham (if anyone is shopping for a car, do not ever go there..ill go look up the name later))with 129k miles....now has 133,002 miles..... no mods besides a personalized plate that was stolen :chairshot: need new tires soon they are about bald....looked good when i bought the car... issues are a mile long..... but things repaired or to be repaired: 1) mass air flow sensor replaced in the last few months 2) new antenna 3) some other sensor (one of the 0xygen ones) 4) soon to be the computer or the temp sensor in the car.... 5)cold start sensor 6)who knows what else....i'm sure everyone will see all my complaints somewhere along the line ;) reason for 1,3,4,5,6: slow acceleration in the morning, bucking like a bronco, dropping rpm's gear shifting issues...etc..... conclusion: unknown.... been the to mechanic tons of times and the dealer..no one has a clue.... oh yeh.. i own a lemon. that explains it all..L-E-M-O-N. timing belt was replaced before i got it, i want to say around 80k miles my parents pay insurance....insurance for a 20 yr old who has been driving since she was 17...probably pretty high..i heard $1k a year.....but that was a long time ago.... and yes, i have tons more to say than this....but im done for now ;)

wouldnt the key in the ignition turn off the alarm??? i know that if you put the key in the keyhole it cuts off the alarm (no other way that i know of)..so wouldnt that be the same for the ignition..... unless someone wants to hotwire the car and let us know ... ;)

the battery in my key (brand new battery) is almost dead....so it's a 10/90 chance that the door will unlock..... anyone else have this issue? guess it is cuz the button is easy to hit accidently (as noted by finding out the keyless entry actually worked when i was trying to unlock the trunk......) do they still have the same style of key or do they have the extra attachment that has the alarm buttons too....also, you should at least use the keyhole once in a blue moon....no one ever used it in the camry, and the keyhole was stuck for the longest time, had to almost break it/wrench it open...so use it occationaly, for the lock's sake. what if the battery dies, and the lock is stuck from not using it...i mean....that would suck just as much....(even the trunk lock was that way)

this was the only post i had time to get to this weekend (dial up internet is SOO slow..) and i was freaked out... but i heard that this didnt happen any more because the dealer needed "proof" that someone owned the car to which they wanted keys..all the same im taping over it tomorrow morning.... what was in recent news to make you post this ;) it was in Gone in 60 Seconds a few years ago...and i thought by LAW dealers couldnt give it out..they could lose their license or whatever they have if they DID give it out.

temporary car ;) its a 99 camry.... and it has issues with balanced tires..i think (havent driven this car in AGES...dunno the exact history..i think my dad said somehing about the actual RIM or something is wrong..) we were going through so many tires and having them aligned every few weeks, cuz the car would pull INTENSELY to the right..now it just vibrates....

oh dearie, this is just a plate, not a state issued plate.... i dont need a state plate on the front..and i can have any plate on the front IF i want ;) and uyou mean the black thing? the 'frame" my car didnt come with one..just the screws..doesnt matter though..it woulda fallen off too ;)

everyone seems to talk about vibrations in the car when it's idling, but last night, on the way to the house the temp car (not the es) started shaking at 60 mph.....not 80 which it usually does...and it wouldnt stop...even at 50 it was wobbling.....i figure the car is a lesser twin to the es (i mean...same parts right)..i mean, the ES drives smoother than that, and well...need i say more. any ideas???

bracket????all i had before was the plug n screws.... anyone else has four holes in the front, or did someone mess with mine? if i decide not ot have a plate, can i get something literally, like a plug, not a screw base? something to fill in the holes....(i really just want a plain bumper) ill check it out though, i figure ill try an auto store..just not til after monday, i gotta go the the future mother in law's house *Groan*....

went to the parents house, saw my car...in the little time that they have driven it, they have added scratches to the front bumper, lost the WHOLE front plate, plugs and all..and my mom has hit a few items cuz she cant park worth doodly and oh yeh....scrapped the crap outta the tires/rims cuz she likes to curb a bit too much.. anyways, even though i lost the whole freaking plate (about $30 or more down the tubes) i need new plugs for the front holes...those little black things the screws um...screw into... any ideas where the heck to get them? are they standard for any car or what... and by the way, there shall be revenge (still wont give me the car even though they are driving it....*Growl* :chairshot: to them...and about 100 more :chairshot: )

yeh i wanted a jeep, but parents just LOVED the es, so bam... they got it and it was the worst choice they coulda made..oh well... and the h-d f series make me cry. so darn expensive for a truck....and um...when i think of a truck, i dont want some low riding, chromed up thing.. i want a truck, a 4x4, knobby tires, lift kit, etc...i mean come on now...just get a car if you want something low to the ground....if i had a truck, id want to be able to drive OVER a car or tree trunk... but at the same time, i'd sure love a harley davidson f-series (for free)......i could just have both types....im weird i know.....you just don't understand my LOVE for things that go GRRRRRR.......*Drools*. im the type of girl who drags the BF to car lots and goes over each and everyone of the vehicles there.....mmmmm cars.......... how come people lower trucks but never raise cars ?

by the way, i've been looking into the NC lemon laws....trying to figure out if i screw over that dealership like they did me (i need a devilish faced smiley damnit) and ill find out as soon as i can about my alarm..i bet it works perfectly......

im going to my parents house tonight to see my car.... *Sniffle* sush1a: i would so put the camry in the road with the windows down ;) aren't those the most commonly stolen cars or something? i wouldn't want my lexus to get hurt ;) and steviej, my parents would give me $4k from that car, cuz thats how much money i personally put into it, they're nice like that. once the car gets running im gettin an after factory alarm, how much do they run usually? i could mayb get it for my birthday, IF the car is "safe" then. and dear dear SK, if i ever have another vehicle it will be a Jeep with huge tires...and i'd sleep in that fella....with a shotgun, so i dont think anyone would break into that ;) *Sigh* dreams. :chairshot: how did the alarm system for these cars end up being messed up anyhow?
